This brush is so much better quality than the smaller, cheaper things we often use for shoe polish. The brush is wood with genuine horse hair bristles which are firm but gentle. I've used this for polishing our leather lounge suite after conditioning as well as a couple of leather jackets with top results. I've polished leather with stockinette in the past but I'll use this from now on.

It fits into the hand comfortably and I believe the bristles are made of horse hair.It works perfectly on all types of leather shoe and doesn’t cast any bristles.When it becomes too laden with polish you can even wash it in Luke warm water.Can recommend this shoe brush.

Bought to use with a leather cleaner on a steering wheel. Very soft bristles and fairly priced. Haven't had any shedding of the bristles. Seems like it is good quality.

Fantastic for brushing down trail shoes after a run or for brushing down trainers after being in the beach. Bristles are very soft and the build seems sturdy.

This is an Amazing kit. First to clean the leather with the spray, followed up with renapur advanced formula leather balsam gives new life to all my leather products ie; purse, handbag, shoes, chesterfield sofa!I love the natural product that works wonders! 😁

I tried to save money as horsehair silver cleaning brushes are incredibly expensive : £10 for a tiny brush that wears out in a short time if the silver is heavily tarnished. And I thought : it’s just horsehair - so I bought this, unfortunately, this does produce very fine, visible scratches on the smooth silver surface, so that was not a good decision (in case you are tempted to save a bit of money like me). I am sure they are perfect for their intended use (polishing shoes) although all these brushes shed as I have a set from before that I use for shoes.So I suppose there is horsehair and then there is horsehair, and this horsehair is coarser than that on the expensive silver polishing brushes (which are less than half the price on the US Amazon website BTW !!! Just postage and shipping times ….)
