Love it!
Maybe it’s anecdotal but i use this every night on my knee which gets swollen after hiking all day. The next day i notice a huge difference! Different compared to the days i don’t do it. Better recovery. I’ve also been using it on my face and i feel like it has helped me recover from some minor i juries like a sprained ankle and something i pulled in my shoulder.

Red Light Therapy For Your Travels
I only recently found out about red light therapy and am liking the research that I am reading. This red light box is small but heavy and it's a challenge to hold this on your face or neck for an extended period of time. You may want to use a stand, tripod or other holder to suspend this in front of your face or body part and of course, don't forget the red light therapy protective glasses. This is a nice compact (thought still large for traveling) light when you can't bring your larger light around with you. This is great for doing therapy while watching tv or surfing the web. There is a timer so once it's off, you know you've hit the set time limit without forgetting about it during a binging moment. The only thing that is a drawback is the weight and the power button. If the button is pressed for a second the battery charge remaining light illuminates (recharge time is not too long and it takes a standard USB -C plug, drain time is pretty good I can use it about an hour before needing to recharge). If you touch the power button it for a few seconds, the unit turns on and you can adjust the timer. I have used this light on and off for the past month and my legs that had a ton of mosquito bites from camping (my legs tend to scar easily due to bites) look much better than in the past. The combination of the infrared and red light appears to really help repair the skins cells. I am impressed by the results and this set of lights is doing it for me. Overall, nice red light for skin repair all over your body and not just for your face or neck.

Compact unit, easily handled Well made quality construction
The box is made of metal, not cheap plastic, and is very well made, durable, and is "heavy weight" compared to the one I have with cheap aluminum frame. The lights are covered with individual protective clear "?plastic type material". The lights will get warm tho they start off cold. There is a wonderful manual , explains everything and a nice hard type material carrying case (looks like it will take the bumps and spills easily". There are lights on side indicating state of charge, and a C type USB charger cord. There is just one button that says Time. Push that button briefly and it will show you the state of charge in the 4 lights (4 lit up means fully charged and 3 on down are lower states of charge). Now push and hold for a second or 3 and the red lights will come on and it will read out 10 tap lightly and it will read out 15, and again and it will read out 5. These are the number of minutes you will have it run for, then just let it go. Remember not to look at it (the manual shows people using it without eye protection, but it really is important to cover eyes) Just closing your eyes helps, but over the treatment time , if you have it facing your "eye", please put on the comfie rubbery eye protections they give you. You can prop it or hold it.There is a vent on 2 sides of the box for ventillation, so keep that in mind if you have it against some kind of surface to hold it up with. The instructions tell you how far away you should have it, and how powerful it is at that distance. I have used it directly on my skin (like leg or stomach, not face or over my chest) and it feels really good and has not burnt me, but I do pay attention and usually run it for 5 minutes at that distance. Need to see how you react (I can lay in the sun almost all day without sun burn, so I have a high tolerance to begin with, and obviously thick skin). This is a great little unit to use in specfic areas (the large ones you can buy at extreamly high prices will do your whole body quickly in a short amount of time), but this is more site specfic, so your use time can be more if you do different parts of your body separately . Great price, the LED's are very bright, and have a nice quality to them. They are 660nm (red) and peak 850nm (near infrared), NIR, a good range to cover your bases. I have also used FIR, far infrared in saunas, which is a different thing altogether. This I use for more localized pain, like overdoing my knees or elbows ect.

Returned
The product had bright lights, but also a strange cooling system with fans on the side that made it very dangerous to put under a blanket, which is how I like to do my red light therapy so I don’t have to continue to wear those glasses or my cats eyes aren’t going to hit the light. The machine was loud and seemed way too hot. The fans kicked on, but the machine was still hot to the touch in a way that felt unsafe. Looks like a lumebox, but definitely subpar. Definitely do not recommend.

Decent light. Terrible shape.
I bought this on the Mito site, not Amazon, and wish I hadn’t at all. It’s heavy, bulky to hold unless you got huge hands, and the corners are a bit sharp! I jabbed the edge of my wrist into it and it actually broke skin! The bulkiness aside, it has helped a tiny bit with my dry eyes. I could see my meibomian glands expressing a bit after a session.I am going to buy a light with adjustable settings and is easier to hold. Something similar to the Mito Mobile Pro but not as expensive.
