Must have
Great pool cover and much sturdier than any I have ever purchased before.

Nice, thick winter cover
This is my 7th winter with this pool here in central Kansas. I've tried a few different budget options. This season I used an "8 YR" cover. It actually lasted only five months and got totally destroyed. I just got this one "15 YR" installed today and I can tell it's much thicker than any previous cover I've purchased. I've bought covers from Leslie's, Doheenys and Amazon. This one seems to be the best material so far. I'll revisit this when I open the pool in spring.

Durability
So far, so good. This is our second pool cover, this seems heavier and more durable than our last one. Hopefully will last at least 5 years.

Didn't last 15 hours, let alone 15 years!
The over quality of this pool cover was far from the online description. This GOLD standard cover didn't even last for 15 hours without two metal gromets breaking and the tarp showing excessive wear and tear. I can not envision how on earth the cover could last for 15 years. For goodness sakes, our grill cover is more durable and shows less wear and tear after 2 years. The pool cover is tearing and fraying more and more each day. (Not to mention that despite spending nearly another hundred dollars on pool weights and properly securing them to the cover, the whole cover is now IN the pool instead of ON it. Tried to get an authorized credit without returning it and submitting photographs, but they will not allow it. Looks like someone will be wading in the pool tomorrow, so we can send this inferior product back.

Seems to be Very Durable
I've probably purchased 8 - 10 solid covers during the past 19 years for my inground pool. They never seem to last more than 2 -3 years. But this cover is by far the thickest material I've ever gotten. So thick in fact that when I fold over some of the areas (because the cover is bigger than my pool) to put water tubes or water trays on top it takes a while to get the folded areas flat. But I can deal with that. Of course this is the first top-of-the-line solid cover I have ever purchased. Usually I get the middle grade cover and regret my purchase at some point. This is the first winter using this cover so time will tell but If I can get 3 - 5 years service from it I'll be happy. I would recommend purchasing this cover.

Gigantic blue tarp
A large tarp with grommets. Heavy duty, would work well if you can stake it down. I didn't have anywhere to stake it so I used a lot of pavers to hold it. Well we have high winds here and the pavers wore holes in the tarp. Also the wind blew debris under the tarp between the pavers so it all was for nought. I 86'd it in the spring Like I said though, if you can stake it properly it would be a useful cover.

Exactly what I was looking for!
Had my pool closed a few days ago and one of the owners of the company asked where I bought my new winter cover and did I mind sharing what I paid. He said it was good quality. I explained that I looked a local company but the cost was more than double the $199 I paid! Needless to say I was pleased with my purchase!

Nice and large and bright
Nice and large and bright! Like the straps for water bags. I will see how it lasts through the winter

Definitely defective workmanship.
Even with my 26 years experience with my pool, I could not position the tarp anywhere close to a proper fit. The tarp is puckered and kinked all along that edge no matter what I try. The problem is caused by the puckered fabric along one side of the adjacent seam. The tarp on one side of the seam is flat as it should be. On the other side of this seam, the fabric is puckered all along the length of the tarp. Some of these puckers are 2 and 3 inches high. The tarp is now frozen down for the winter so unfortunately I am stuck with. My shipping cost is well over $100.00 to return it.

Waste of money just let pool water through
I bought this because most reviews were good and it appeared to be a solid product. It was installed last fall to close our pool in Ontario for the winter with water bags and carefully positioned to avoid any rubbing or other contact. Now that the snow has melted water just came right through the tarp and it mixed snow/rain water with pool water below. There are no holes or damage water to soaked through. Very disappointed.
