Effective for plantars fasciitis
Durable, just keep in mind this is a hard surface. Better than my physical therapist office for plantars fasciitis

light weight and not too expensive
I bought this because they had one like it at my physical therapy gym. I needed to get more confident with my balance after my total hip replacement. I have one downstairs in my little home gym and another one up in the kitchen tucked under the small 2-seater bench at the breakfast table. The kitchen is a good place to practice because there are lots of counter areas to stand in front of and grab hold of while you practice.

exactly as expected
I quite like this! It is simple, lightweight, easy on my softwood floor, and does what I need it for--stretches my calves. (When I'm ready to try using it for balance building, it will clearly work fine for that too.)

good for specific workouts
I had a foot issue as well as an ankle issue. I needed to be able to do calf raises but wasn't really allowed to flex my toes backwards, this was a pretty good solution because I could go through the motion of calf raises without the flexion in my toes. I haven't messed around with many other exercises but I saw a bunch of things online that I will dabble with as well.

PT recommended
My PT recommended this for ankle/foot stretching following ankle replacement & then later for painful knee. Easy to use & durable.

really needs some tips for usage
I've been trying to be more consistent in my stretching routine and I like how this rocker helps with calf stretches. It is small enough that I can leave it in front of my bathroom sink as a reminder to stretch while brushing my teeth, etc. I started using it flat side down but found I prefer puting the rounded side down and I can control the level of stretch by rocking back. I have a feeling this could be a lot more versatile but without any instructions or tips, I haven't yet used it for more than my calves. Without more information, it's kind of pricey for what it is.

Excellent convenient board for intended exercise. The best use would be for people with feet size not bigger than 8.

Not bad...
This is a cool or useful idea - a calve stretcher, a balance board and more. I use a foam wedge for squats and didn't have any reservations about it with this product. Since it is a dense foam, it is very light weight. You could store this anywhere it's so light. The top or flat part has deep lines or grooves cut into it that help grip it when you stand on it. I am 230lb and used this in my hard cement garage floor where I work out. There was a little bit of give, but it worked well. If it was wood or metal, the balancing part would be a lot more difficult. That's the good. Now the bad. I think it should be a little longer and wider. My feet are not fully supported when I stand on it. Also, I do need to bring in my feet a little from what I'd call my natural stance (I am 6'1" though). Some may feel that almost $40, this is a lot for a piece of foam. Personally, I like it.
