MADE IN WUHAN?! THE TRUTH. PLEASE READ!
The masks fit perfectly fine and do what they are supposed to do. They even have an adjustable metal piece that can fit the shape of your nose. To address the “Made in Wuhan” label, yes, on the box it says it’s from Wuhan, China. It would make sense why one would flinch but honestly, people, HOLD ONTO FACTS AND NOT FEAR! Covid-19/Coronavirus is spread primarily through droplets generated when an infected person coughs or sneezes. If the virus makes its way to a surface, it needs an active host for it to live and transmit itself onto others. With that being said, it doesn't live on surfaces for very long! Still not convinced? Put the facts and logic together - it takes 4 days for shipments to make it from China to the U.S. at the fastest speed. Add in the days it sat in a warehouse or in holding with additional days it took to be delivered to you. Though it’s not entirely impossible, it’s very, VERY UNLIKELY you would contract the virus by ordering and wearing these masks. I’m shocked at how folks are so naive to the fact that you have a much higher risk contracting Covid-19 here in the U.S., by not washing your hands or failing to practice social distancing, than ordering packages from China. If it puts you at ease, buy this and leave it alone for 5 days before opening. According to different health article guidelines (including the CDC’s) that’s the most days I’ve read that the virus can live on a surface.

Good masks for general public use
I bought myself a box of these because they were available after being forced into the world with just a scarf and gloves and feeling very unsafe because people don't seem to be able to grasp DISTANCE. I grabbed a box for my parents as well because they are elderly. The worst that could happen would be I wasted some money. These were the only masks available at the time. (More on that below) THE GOOD NEWS: 1) They arrived days before they were "due." Faster than Amazon has gotten me anything in over a year. 2) They are 3-ply, like the page shows, and they are basic 1-use, disposable masks for general use (not medical, nothing fancy, but exactly what a person running errands or picking up things from the drive through, walking the dog, etc might require.) 3) I don't think the price is outrageous, given how expensive (and elusive - downright impossible to find) masks have been and currently still are. (I got these masks, but I cannot get toilet paper, vegetables, fruit - fresh or frozen and not even frozen pizza...) 4) Not only well-made for a disposable mask but quite comfortable - they fit over both nose and mouth, and the ear loops don't bother me at all, even with glasses on all day too. AND THEY STAY ON, unlike some of the masks that droop and require putting your hands near your face to pull them back into place. These stay put until you take them off. I tested this by spraying one wildly with bleach, letting it dry and wearing it around my house. The rest are in quarantine for another day. But I'm thrilled with my purchase. The bad: 1) The box is not sealed tightly or wrapped. This may be because exposure to air is a better way to ensure any germs die rather than sealing them in and keeping them alive with humidity, but you should know that the cardboard box is the only thing between the masks and the world before they get to you. 2) (not really bad, but noteworthy:) They are slightly pricey, but so is everything right now. I've paid more for everything recently, and why would masks be an exception? At less than a dollar per mask, it seemed worthwhile to me - enough so that I may buy another box because 50 won't last long if we do this for the timeframes currently being noted. I don't want to hog masks, but if people won't buy them because of their origin, I'll be more greedy. FINALLY, I have something to say about Wuhan: THANK YOU FOR SELLING US MASKS. Wuhan is far away. Even if they had COVID19 near them or an infected worker making them, given the arid nature of the packaging, the spores wouldn't stand the time it takes for shipping, being stocked in a warehouse and then delivery to your house. I let everything "new" in my house take a 3-day break before use (food, mail, etc.) These are as risky as anything else because we don't have enough tests in the US and you have no idea who might be infected (that's why it's a global pandemic.) If you feel better not having a mask, don't buy them, but don't assume that because you find a mask made in the US that it's safe -- take precautions with everything. That's how we'll make it through this. Take care of yourself and take care of other people (perhaps by wearing a mask.) Blaming, giving 1-star ratings without purchasing or seeing the item or generally making uninformed comments doesn't help anyone. We should remember: we're truly all in this together.

Great masks. No problems with them breaking and not paper thin either
I bought theses over a month ago and thought I would wait a while before writing a review. So far I have not experienced any issues with the elastic straps on the mask breaking off nor are these masks paper thin like tissue paper. They have the thickness of about a paper towel and have been quite sturdy. No rips or tears. Keep in mind that these masks are NOT comparable to an N95 surgical mask. These are to give you basic protection from inhaling Covid19 but especially from spreading the infection but not containing your breath in the mask. These do have the wire strap across the nose to make it conform to the bridge of your nose. It will not make an airtight seal since I can sometimes feel some of my breath come through the top of the mask around my cheeks. Either way they have worked pretty well for me and thankfully managed to get them at a good price while many other seller were price gouging. With that in mind I am going to touch on two things. First is that you have have seen many people in Korea, Japan , China etc wearing face masks long before Covid19. This is because if someone is sick it is seen as being considerate to other to wear a face mask to avoid getting other sick. They also wear them because in certain places in China the air quality can get pretty bad from all the industrial pollution. With that, knock of the ignorant comments about throwing masks away just because they were made in China or came from China. Covid cannot survive the long trip from China to the US and then going through the ports, workers etc. You're more likely to catch it from one of your fellow countryman if they have it and handle your package. Also knock off the xenophobia against Asians. The irony of all of this are they same people who would write bad reviews about the masks coming from China most likely typed them out on a keyboard or smartphone with components made in China.

Does the job very well
It was so hard trying to decide which masks to give a shot here on Amazon. All of them have a ton of low reviews based on price or where they were made. I decided between two different brands and these win out all around. They are of the exact same quality as the ones I got from my doctor's office. They fit exceptionally well and the piece to form around the nose works very well. I have now purchased two boxes of these from Amazon and each came in perfect condition. The box shows how to wear them correctly and they are packaged very well inside the box. There is also a certificate of compliance inside the box telling you when these masks were made and how long they were expected to be good. Though I don't think these masks ever expire. The make, quality and feel of theses masks is great. I feel good and protected wearing them. How you will feel about them also has to do with the type of masks you want. I can't wear cloth masks for I just can't breath. With these I feel protected and safe. No mask is a magic cure all. I also did my research and read that masks should not be stored in plastic and instead should be in paper bags or boxes so these are ideal. They are from a name brand JOINTOWN and come professionally packaged rather than so many others that are sent in generic plastic bags where you can not truly trust their quality. As for the price I now have 100 masks for about $65. That sounds like a lot but it is only 65 cents a mask and I am just grateful they were available. What I suggest is looking strongly at the pictures, make sure these are the type of masks you want and if yes, I highly recommend. These are high quality and made very well.

Good for short-term use!
Similar to the “50Pcs Disposable Filter Mask 3 Ply Earloop Face Masks” from various sellers I used these masks at the height of the COVID-19 lockdowns and wish I'd found the porous ones I currently use sooner, but these still came in handy in the interim! I used these in a fast-paced setting surrounded by metal and concrete and in sweltering/freezing temperatures year round, and they held up throughout. Personal pros: -Nice blue/almost white color makes them look quite calming. -Sturdy, stays strong through running, jumping, twisting, stretching, bending, varying temperatures, and more. -Absorbent cloth that catches plenty of sweat and still remains functional. -Sold at a great price. Personal cons: -Flimsy and easily breakable straps. I tried combining them with clips for an even tighter fit and the straps would quickly (if not immediately) snap. This can be remedied somewhat by simply pulling the straps more taut and binding them. -The straps were rough on my skin even after about six hours of use and, after enough time, chafed the skin around my ears, after which I soon switched to cloth masks. Other possible solutions might include switching straps and/or masks and/or covering that part of the ear if possible. -The base/middle slides around quite easily and is likely meant for smaller faces than mine, but this can be largely remedied by shaving as completely as possible. -The triple+-ply construction, while ostensibly increasing the protective factor, also makes them far less breathable. This can be somewhat remedied by not exerting oneself while wearing them. With a strong construction that holds up under lots of physical activity, stress and varying temperatures but uncomfortable and with easily breakable straps and few fit options, these masks are at least an easy 3/5!

These are not medical grade masks so they provide only minimal protection to you.
I much prefer these to the cloth masks that we have been making. The manufacturer specifies these are single use disposable masks. However, I have been cleaning these with 3% hydrogen peroxide and reusing. After I have used 6 masks one time each. I put the 6 masks in a quart zipper plastic bag and add 3 tablespoons of peroxide. I seal the bag, leaving plenty of air space inside, then shake the bag to disperse the peroxide all over each mask. I then partially open the bag and remove as much air as possible without losing liquid. I seal the bag and set the masks aside for 24 or more hours. I remove the masks and lay them flat on a clean dish towel to dry. After they are dry, I do not use them again for 5 additional days. I'm sure neither the manufacturer nor Amazon would recommend this, but I feel very comfortable doing this. These masks are made of non woven polypropylene and are very durable. It seems such a shame to throw away perfectly good masks.

My thought
First I let these set days. They did not come sealed. 1. When I blow air out as hard as I can with my hand in front of the mask my breath can not be felt by my hand but instead I feel it on my neck. So it actually working to keep my droplets in. 2. They are actually a tiny bit big. I think what makes it big on the sides for me is the big ear straps. 3. ear straps are comfortable. but maybe too big which is way better then too small. 4. They do seem thin. So I was surprised they really work during my blow air out test. And also suprised when I cut one then got tweezer to see exactly how many layers of different material. I counted 3 layers. 2 whites and 1 blue. The middle white layer is thickest. kinda thin like tissue paper but VERY different. Harder to rip then tissue paper. 5. They actually have one of those nose metal pieces. It is a thin metal wire. I thought that was cool and made it fit better. If you don't feel it you have it on upside down 6. Matched the description 100%!!! All the pics look exactly what I got. 7. They are made in wuhan BUT very happy to have received. And I can't find any made in America right now. Other then cloths which I also got. But I think these are better then the cloth ones I got. & I am not a prejudice person. Got one for myself and my mom. But hers I had shipped to her. 8. I am NOT a scientist or a doctor. I just can right a review now that a fully examined the product. Literally dissected it with scissors and tweezers. PS do Not order these and put them on right away best to let anything sit for a while. We all know factories like amazons distribution centers etc have covid right now. I washed out side of box then let sit
