So clever
For such a long time I would take photos with my camera and wait until I got home to share the images. Now I can share the photos while I’m out. This makes it so easy to drop the photos into my phone or iPad.I’m so happy with this product. It’s so small and easy to use. Just plug it in and open the photos app and they show up. Part of the benefit of using this device is preserving the quality of the photos without using a computer.Great value too

Great card reader
Needed this to share pictures I took on my digital cameras, super convenient!Where to find images (on an iPhone):Once the card reader is plugged into your phone and a memory card is inserted, go to your Photos app. At the bottom (Library, For You, etc) a new tab called "Imports" will appear. Here you will see all of the images on your memory card. What's super convenient is that after you've uploaded your images, you can delete them from the card on your phone and the card will be empty and ready to use again!

Confusing at first (iPhone 15-16 with usb-c)
The media could not be loaded. So at first use I thought I’d get the plug and play. It didn’t work. I used my son’s galaxy and it recognizes it and gives you an option in the pull down menu. My 16 pro max did not.Upon googling it. I found that if you open your files. It will immediately recognize the connected device and let you view from there. But it does indeed work.I will try to upload a video for others to see.Videos loaded. Tried to show. You can see the one that pops up as I connect it.Hope this helps

Terrible
This product will not read cards accurate each time. I just pulled a card from a brand new trail camera, which I purchased because I thought the camera was faulty, turns out it’s the card reader. Less than 2 months old and it’s reporting “no images to import”. However the camera just displayed 4187 new photos. I plugged the card into my laptop, and boom, there they are.

Neat Little SD / Micro SD USB 'C' Card Reader
I got this card reader to attach to my Google Pixel7a to enable local file transfer and provide access to external content. It seems well made and compact and the USB 'C' plug it slim enough to attach securely through the apperture on my rugged phone case which has proven to be too small for some connected devices and cables. On my phone I useddthe Google Files app to browse content on the device which shows as USB Storage in order to access the content and another 3rd party file management app I often use to access local and networked accessible storage. Both apps were able to access the SD card I used in the reader. As the reader is very compact it can be easily kept in your pocket or bag should you need to take it out and about with you. The only niggle I have with it is that the MicroSD card inserts the opposite way up to the SD card which is a little confusing and annoying.I would certainly recommend this card reader if you are looking for a discreet way to attach SD / MicroSD card storage to a mobile device or other compatible device that has a USB 'C' connector that accepts externally attached devices.

Absolutely love this USB-C Card reader/writer
I use this as a means to either grab camera/drone footage and put it on my computer; or more often; to create small raspberry pi and other SBC microSD cards. The form-factor of this card reader is excellent; the fact that it is USB-C is even better (my previous one was a regular USB-A and while it worked well - it was an absolutely pain on newer laptops/computer that have more limited USB-A and more USB-C).Aside from that not much to say; it works very well; its pretty fast; not sure if it actually supports USB-C 3 speeds; but then I doubt the microSD card would support that. There are two slots on the card reader - one for the standard SD Card (sometimes called a TF Card), and one under need for the microSD (sometimes called microTF) card.An excellent and required dongle - at least for me; and if you use cameras, or raspberry pis (or other SBC) for anyone and everyone.

Good for the every day photographer
This little card reader works well, is compact and does the job perfectly well for most day to day photographers, and I would happily recommend it for that. I would not recommend it for professional or serious hobbyist photographers who are frequently uploading in excess of 500 pictures because it's quite slow. I'll keep it and use it as a spare, but after using it just once, I have ordered another apple branded one as I know it works much faster.
