Be careful of dripping!
This has totally changed the look of my bathroom, and I’m so excited about it. I had one of those dirty cigarette filter nicotine yellow colored acrylic tubs when I moved into this place 8 years ago. I’ve always hated it. No matter what you do, it looks dirty. It had scratch marks from previous people washing their spastic dogs in it. Finally I’ve had the time to redo it, and I went with this kit. It has totally transformed my bathroom, and I can’t wait for the 7 day curing period to finish so I can finally use it! 3 more days! My only problem I had was where the paint was on the vertical areas, it dripped down into the base of the tub and left thick drip spots. It’s not that noticeable, and I may try to sand it down in the future…but may not. It’s not THAT noticeable unless you’re looking for it. Overall though, I’m really impressed. The odor is about a 6 out of 10. Nowhere near even as strong as the caulk I used. I didn’t even have the window open for the third coat because it was raining heavily. I sent pictures to a family member, and they thought I had bought a new tub! I’ll update the review accordingly if I have any issues once I actually start using it. One last thing is to make sure you have an extra brush or two…I think my dripping paint problem could be related to water on the brush. Only one brush was provided, which I washed out after the first coat. Three hours later, the brush was still pretty damp, but it’s the only brush I had. Same for coat three. It could be because the brush still had water on it? When I do the tub in the second bathroom next month, I am making sure I have additional brushes to have a dry brush each time.

Great product if you’re patient!
Great value for money, but does require detailed prep work, and PATIENCE. If you can do those first two things, the look and quality is better than you are imagining. It mixes up with ease, and it does stand the test of time. No scratches, chips or fading have occurred. Cleans very easy, and the black looks great!

Good product....warm your tub first
This would have been perfect if I had known I needed a space heater to warm up the tub before hand. Of course I had to do this during a rare cold snap in Florida...lol. I pride myself on carrying everything I need in my truck, who carries a space heater in Florida? The house was in the midst of a sale, the baby bath set up was hiding a night mare of an old chipped up previously refinished tub. The chips and chunks were so bad. I had to sand forever and bondo coat. To top it off, the cold was so bad, but I had to open the window to air out while working. I was regretting bidding on the job through photos from realtor (another lesson learned). But after a phone call we fixed that. Anyway, the tub was so cold, cast iron on a 42° day, in an unoccupied house, no Bueno for rolling on this paint. I found a blow dryer, out of desperation I did what I could to warm it up. Let Realtor know the tub was going to be textured, no slip and fall lawsuits here...lmao. WARM UP TUB BEFORE ROLLING ON PAINT, unless you want a textured tub. Considering what I was dealing with, this product worked great. All the supplies were perfect. I will order again if I need to.

DO NOT BUY
Super blotchy eve though I had a professional come do it. Had to get a different paint AND tried to clean it off after 20 MIN and NOTHING came off. Now my bathtub and shower look horrid. There’s not really a HUGE smell but definitely a smell and it was just not working with me not durable and overall just DO NOT buy this. I expected better especially with that price tag

Lack of information
I don't understand why if I bought white paint it came with black color grout pens??? There is no information about this and no options to choose!
