Excellent
Bought this as a present for my wife. Great bit of kit and much better than the last one that I bought her, which ended up in the bin. Highly recommend

Does what it says, far better value than more expensive models
What a brilliant addition to my kitchen. The ice cream it produces is soft and silky smooth. This ice cream maker has a small footprint, looks good, and is so easy to use and clean. It does exactly what it should and we love the little dispensers for decorating the ice cream. Excellent value for money. Had considered other more expensive options but this one ticks all the boxes for half the price.

Ok for the money, but not a professional machine
It was fine, but it was a bit of a fluff having to first freeze the ice cream churn bucket each time before you use it. It also didn't state that you have to wisk up the cream mix quite thick before adding it to the churn bucket before trying to turn it into ice cream. The idea that it allows you to make ice cream as soon as you unbox it is not possible. Having now used it and its cost is less than £200 its not bad, if maybe a bit basic for what it does. If you can afford it go for the more expensive professional machines to get the real thing. Otherwise it will make ice cream but it is not such a quick fix for doing so

Serious Design Flaw
This product has a serious and potentially dangerous design flaw and should have been withdrawn from sale by the manufacturers long ago.Food gets trapped behind a plate in the blending head where it rots, creating a clear food poisoning risk.Although apparently not designed to be taken apart for cleaning this can be done, but is a tedious process.A plastic component in the head has now fallen apart after less than three years of light use.I have now purchased a replacement from one of the major manufacturers who know how to design a product.

Great product for the price
Easy to use with simple instructions. Easy to clean and one 500g portion of ice cream mix is enough to make into 8 cones. Sprinkle compartments are a nice touch but they do seem to go everywhere when dispensed.

Increase the power
For years I have used a hand blender, the last one was a Braun. This was a very good blender that came with a complete set of accessories, but I often was short on power when doing something basic like blending a soup or making a batter. This Cuisinart blender has double the power of most hand blenders and you notice the difference! It works really wel and we use it almost daily. We have a baby and we use that blender and its accessories very often. As mentioned in another review the chopper accessory is not well designed. My Braun had a screw-top and it never leaked, with the Cuisinart it doesn't. Have not had any leaks yet, but I can see the design difference. This is not enough to no like this hand blender. You will not be disappointed, it is a well-build blender with all the necessary accessories to blitz, chop, mix, etc. Also like the fact it is not made of plastic.

Wife n Kids love it, me....not so much!
This could be fabulous if the window of use was wider. You pop the tub in the freezer for 24 hours before use, but when you use it only freezes the mix for a short period that generally isn't quite long enough to freeze the ice cream enough and you really need to time it right......for me it's too sloppy, but the wife and kids love it!

Yummy soft serve
Had a mess when I tried for the first time. Cleaned everything up quite quickly. Bought another type of ice cream mix and worked perfectly. Forgot to close the handle and the mix went all over the place. So definitely check to make sure the handle is in the closed position before filling the machine up. But makes great ice cream and serves it well

My first ice cream maker. It's small, makes less than a pint. Which is great for testing a lot of different recipes and flavors. People need to know that your mix needs to be very cold, It's best to put it in the freezer for a half hour after an overnight in the fridge before churning. Also, I found that sticking the whole thing in the fridge while churning is helpful if you have a hot kitchen (extension cord). I've had no problem pouring my cold mix into the frozen tub and then sticking the top on quickly. Also, after 25 minutes, your ice cream won't be scoopable, more like a looser soft serve. It needs to go in the freezer for a couple hours first. It's a cheap item, don't expect a professional gelato machine! I've been very happy playing around with it.

The bowl definitely needs to be at least - 18 degrees to work. But when prepared properly, it does work. Pretty excited to try out different recipes. So far so good. Can't complain much for a $50 ice cream machine.

I LOVE THIS THING! I work at a high school and I brought it in to make ice cream with my students. It is so easy to use, it makes the perfect amount of ice cream, you clean it the way you would clean any other bowl so it's super easy and the ice cream tastes amazing - no freezer burn! The size of the bowl itself is so awesome although it is a bit annoying to carry my stand mixer into work.

Please note it takes 12-16 hrs for the bowl to freeze before each use! Lol I did not read that part was a bit sad to have to wait, but totally my fault :p I plan on purchasing a second bowl to accommodate my needs, but it works perfectly otherwise - ps Greek yogurt seems to freeze faster than traditional cream recipe
