Oooh it is great goes together just like any other type of shelf like this. I put mine in my work locker. I commute far so I like to load my locker up with extra clean clothes, socks underwear, emergency snacks, soap for the shower, gym clothes. This shelf added a whole new level of organization and efficiency to my fat locker. For $20!!! A rare bargain or a very great deal thank you. This will be in my locker long after I am gone and pass it on to the next employee. Very sturdy. Just make sure it’s all seated correctly and I do not see any issues. Took 15 minutes to assemble. I had to assemble it in the locker to fit.

this isn't worthy of even 1 star. It is a complete piece of junk, with junky parts. The shelves are not stable, "Whoever made it should be punched in the face!" that's a direct quote from my adultson as he tried to assemble it.The directions said to check the partslist. BUT There is no parts list, just a pileof pieces, some broken and no back up pieces. Needless to say, we threw everything back in the box and will return it tomorrow. AMAZON, DO NOT SELL THIS PRODUCT. IT IS TYPICAL CHINESE JUNK.

Amazon flagged this as a frequently returned item and those returns are most likely because of its size. It's well made and very inexpensive shelving but it's also very small. It fits perfectly at the end of the work table in my studio. I hope the picture gives you a better idea of it's actual size so you won't be disappointed with it's size.

I can see why some people give this item lower ratings. Based on the photos, I expected the rack to be a bit beefier. The legs are thinner than they appear (see attached photo; the leg on the left shows this clearly), and the plastic inserts can pop up until you place a shelf on them. That said, I specifically needed a 16" wide shelf, and this was the only product I could find that met the requirement to fit the designated space. It allows for leveling on uneven floors to provide stability, and for the weight of the items I store, it holds up just fine.Overall, the rack works well for me. I would have given it five stars if the photos had better represented the actual build.

Reading all the one-star reviews gives me a chuckle; I wish I could be there to help them out in person, only then would they change their opinions. Yes it may be a little tricky to assemble, but since I’ve assembled many of this type of shelves, including the large commercial ones, I don’t even read the instructions anymore. The design hasn’t changed one single bit in the past 20-30 years, so it shouldn’t be that hard for an average person to put together. Although l have to admit that it is actually smaller then it looks in the picture, but since I’ve done the measurements, so I have a good idea of how big it actually is. Besides, everything looks smaller on the floor.

It's not as big as the picture and not as study. I needed the stand to set my portable air conditioner on. Easy to assemble and it still serves the purpose.

Very wobbly unit after assembly. Plastic parts that hold the shelving and legs in place DO NOT STAY IN PLACE. After assembly, if you lift the unit - care must be taken, as the plastic parts holding the unit together simply will pop off and the shelving unit comes apart.WORK- AROUND: I used plastic zip ties to secure the joints together AND I used metal hose clamps to hold the plastic joints in place.***Only, after I secured the shelving unit with plastic zip ties and metal hose clamps at the joints, could I lift the unit without it falling apart.
