Such an awesome hat! I'm a baseball cap type of girl...mainly because it has a hole for my ponytail to go...but this one was on sale for under $8 (!!!) and I thought I'd give it a try for yard work, and more recently, a weekend of huckleberry picking. I was tired of worrying about whether I'd applied sunblock to my ears and back of my neck. This was amazing! I have an average-sized head and long hair, and it adjusted around my head (just below the ponytail hole) and I had plenty of room to go either way. It's a light nylon fabric and felt like I wasn't wearing anything at all. The part that fit over my head, above the brim, had actually very effective vents on each side. I own a couple of "fishing" type of hats, all made of canvas, and they always sagged in front of my eyes. This one does not. The cord would come in handy at the beach, but for yard work and berry picking in the mountains, it either went in front or behind my neck, and neither of them made the cord fall in a way that was annoying on in the way. The one thing to be aware of is that this arrives in a sturdy flat envelope, so I had a slight crease where it bent the floppy part the first day or two that I wore it, but that was a nothing-burger for me as it was more utility than fashion in my case. it protected my neck, ears, face, and where my hair parts completely from the sun without applying anything but my regular tinted sunscreen on my face and front of neck. Also thisi pink (I think it's called Watermelon?) with the gray was SUPER cute.

This hat is pretty good, especially for the price. The crease from it being folded doesn't want to go away but its comfortable and works well. I like that I can have my hair up in it and the strap holds it in place even when on a boat moving very fast in strong wind. I've worn it twice so far, kayaking and a boating whale watching tour and it was exactly what I needed for the trip. Not the most flattering but it protected my face and neck from the sun.

This bucket hat is more than just a fashion statement when you live in Arizona. It's perfect at the pool when you're doing water aerobics. Water doesn't faze it and the large prim protects your face and neck from those hot UV rays. I have several in different colors at this great price.

Thus is a great sun hat with a well located ponytail hole. I have a couple of other sun hats and have to wear my ponytail low for those. With this hat, I can wear my ponytail "normally" and still be shaded. The brim isn't to stiff, so I will be flexible when I'm sitting ang reading. The hat is very lightweight and packable. The sides can flip up and snap if you want to get your Crocodile Dundee on! The chin strap is adjustable and will keep it on in a wind. It's breathable and a quality product. Recommended especially at this price point.

I couldn't find tons of info on whether this hat would fit a huge head like mine, so I thought I'd report my findings for the benefit of all the ladies with big beautiful heads. My head is 23 1/2" and I have a good amount of hair. This hat fits snugly. It couldn't be even a millimeter tighter without giving me a headache (it still might). Releasing the adjustment strap in the back might give you a touch more room (I'm just going to cut it out because I won't be using it). Putting your hair through the hole also might give a smidge more room. I don't know in what universe the purple-and-gray hat is actually purple. It's pink. I included a photo of the hat beside two items that are genuinely purple to show the difference. The color is very pretty, but if you need a true purple you won't be getting it. Cotton? Nope! The tag says 100% polyester. Maybe some part of it is cotton, but that's the only tag I've found. In any event, there's nothing on this hat that's 90% cotton. Despite all that I'm keeping the hat. It has what I need for an upcoming hiking trip: cooling mesh, a strap (not that the hat's going to come off my head, mind you), and a cheap price tag. I also think I look cool when I pin the sides up like a cowboy hat. Do I actually look cool? Almost certainly not. But I THINK I do, and that's good enough.

Only giving this a 3 becthe chin strap was not super secure and broke after one use. I do love the hat though! Before use, maybe put a few stitches in the chin strap for extra strength.

Loved this hat! It's lightweight and foldable and so great for travel. I love that it has an opening for your ponytail and the chin straps secure the hat onto your head despite the wind. The mesh inside also keeps your scalp breathable and your head cool. I decided on the white color, which was easy to pair with all my outfits and help reflect the sunlight as much as possible. The wide brim of this bucket hat not only keeps the sun out of your eyes but also slims your face down too. Overall, I'm super pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it for your next trip!

Great sun shade hat. Light weight,fits well and supports a long pony tail. I don't use the chin strap and it's easily placed above head inside the hat. Ideal golf hat

Gostei bastante do chapéu. Tem boa qualidade. Abas que protegem bem da luz solar. É parecido com a foto. Recomendo.

Great fit and wide brim. Although the cord is not fashionable but great for when it's windy. Although if the wind is front on the front of the brim flicks up but it her wise great

It's a nice hat but is really small, I have a small head but I still had to adjust it to the largest one. The quality is pretty good but not $30+ good. The colour is really pretty and it's comfortable Shipping was very fast It came super wrinkled and I can't unwrinkle it properly.

It stays in place even in strong wind! Very breathable. Perfect for outdoor activities. I also like the shape of the hat. Great value for money.
