I really like the dark "wood" color of this shelf. It fits over my toilet no problem, even with lid up, but may not work with a really high toilet. Just measure first! I've bought two of these, they are both in my bathroom, one has the laundry hamper underneath. It is stable (I'm using on hard floor), and was fairly easy to put together, I did it by myself (middle aged, female.) The second one I just bought came with some hanging hooks and a toilet paper hanger. The shelves are slatted, if you have smaller items, cover with a solid piece of cardboard or thick plastic shelf liner so stuff doesn't fall through. I have the 3-shelf one, I like it. I've bought other things from Songmics, I like their stuff it is good quality.

Sturdy, easy assemble, white is crisp and clean, paired it with DNC Silicone Bathroom Trays (available on Amazon) on bottom shelf to hold small toiletries securely. Liked this storage unit so much, bought a second one.

This does the job of keeping the sink surface clutter free. It's a little wobbly, but I don't want to anchor it to the wall. Because the "shelves" are slats with open spaces in between, I cut shelf liner to size. This avoids small items from falling or tipping. After reading several reviews for similar products, I made sure to find one that would clear the seat when in an upright position. This one fits the bill and looks nice.

This is a solid wood, easy to put together and sturdy unit. I wasn’t sure about the visible screws but they are copperish colored so they look kinda rustic. I really like it.

I actually separated this so I have a stand near the door and separate shelves to store my sheets and blankets in the spare room. It looks nice, easy to assemble and is multifunctional.

Bought this for my parents “water closet” in their new home. Very easy to assemble and attach to the wall. It added much needed storage. Very sturdy.

It is genuinely frustrating to give this review only three stars. It’s hard to find a good shelf that goes over the toilet or washer. I have purchased products from SONGMICS before and had a generally positive experience in build quality. When I first opened the box I was impressed. The shelves themselves feel hefty and good quality. The wood looked nice. This was delivered after I had already found an over the toilet shelf I liked, but instead of returning this one I decided to keep it and use it as an over the litter box shelf because it seemed high quality. That was my mistake. Putting it together was a chore. It took longer than the instructions imply and definitely would be easier with two people, but I don’t deduct points for that. The screws and the hex wrench/ Allen key however, are both low quality. Every single screw appears off centered by a different amount. The hex wrench is made of such cheap metal that it became unusable before the job was finished. I have my own of the same size, but I prefer to use the tools included since they’re ideally the best for the job. I don’t recommend using a drill with a hex bit either. I did it all by hand and the wood on one piece still started to split, so I have to assume a drill would be even worse. The top and bottom halves didn’t come close to being flush. I understand minor variations. It’s a pet peeve normally, until it becomes a structural integrity issue. At a certain price point I do expect those variations to be within much smaller margins. Finally, for SOMGMICS or anyone designing an over the toilet shelf and anyone buying one, a few things to consider: The bottom of legs themselves are not adjustable and did not come with screw in furniture levelers, just a felt pad on each leg. By design most bathrooms floors aren’t going to be even. They’re designed to drain. Buildings age over time as well. I’ll have to use shims or figure out another solution. This is the third shelf I’ve seen where the instructions specify screwing in a piece after you set the self up behind the toilet. Do the people designing these not understand they’re going up against a wall, behind a toilet, usually between a sink and a wall, making it impossible to screw with a Hex Key? I will say that if none of the above bothers you, it does fit over the cat litter box. I’d like to return it but I’m unfortunately too injured to take it back apart and carry it down three flight of stairs and to a Whole Foods, so at least I’ll get some use out of it.

Product came broke I had to glue pieces together so it’s very unstable.

Rented an apartment with a REALLY small ensuite bathroom and no storage. This product fixed the problem. Only challenge I had was that it was not tall enough for me to be able to open the toilet seat lid fully so had to prop it up on some small white storage boxes to raise the height but once that was done it was perfect! Prompt delivery and easy to assemble

Super easy to put together- frees up loads of space making your bathroom feel larger and less cluttered. Seems quite sturdy and practical.
