This was a good buy. I needed something to help tighten the waist of a few pairs of pants that I wear to the office. The pants do not have belt loops and I did not want to have to bring them to a tailor to have them permanently altered. This item let's me easily pin the hooks on without doing damage to the fabric or requiring any sewing. At the end of the day, you simply remove them before washing the clothing and can put them back on for the next wear. Great solution for anyone who fluctuates between sizes and doesn't want to have to double their wardrobe!

I love how handy and cute these are! I use them on my jeans and dresses when I need to tighten certain areas. I have thick thighs/butt but a small waist so it’s hard to find good fitting pants and dresses so this is a must! I’m actually wearing them right now with a dress that I wanted to add a little more shape to and it works well. Plus the variety is nice so I can use ones to fit the vibe of any outfit. Great value for the cost! Heads up, the pin backings are a little hard to take off but it’s necessary so they don’t come undone while wearing them. Highly recommend!

I bought these for jeans because I struggle to find pairs that fit my hips and butt and that don’t gap in the back of the waist. These work as intended and got rid of the waist gap which was nice. They’re also cute, but super uncomfortable unless you wear an undershirt or tuck something into your pants. These dig into the skin and have an uncomfortable pressure. I had indents in my skin and they started to hurt after a day of use although I had a camisole on. 3/5 stars because they do what they’re supposed to, but I was hoping to not have to wear an undershirt which I usually only do to keep the waist of my jeans from gapping as much, which defeats the purpose.

These are difficult to place; it can take me twenty minutes to place a set. But they go through the washer and dryer well, so I've bought them for each article of clothing I needed to take in, rather than trying to move them. Also, one set is six pieces: four tacks and two sides - the hook and the bar. So it takes twelve pieces to take in a pair of pants. But for someone who lost a lot of weight quickly, they're way better than buying new clothes. I'll keep buying them, for sure.

This fixed my couch cushion!!! Had to wash a cushion too many times and the tread on the zipper became misaligned. I tried a tool to realign it but it just wouldn’t stay closed either. I snapped these babies just around the zipper, evenly spaced out, I just knew they would pop off as soon as someone sat on it… it didn’t! It’s very secure and snug, the snaps are strong and you just have to be mindful of spacing so your fabric doesn’t rip because the pins are well made and won’t go anywhere once placed. I needed to adjust one, and it was a tough tug and pull, but I was able to get it undone and back in place. I am fine with that because I don’t want these to easily come out and prick anyone. The color variety was nice, though not necessary for me since I wanted them out of sight. I can see these make a snazzy closure to something if you want it visible though.

These were absolute garbage. After attaching to my jeans the top part broke off while the base was still attached to my jeans. There was no way to remove it because the contraption that allows it to release was broken off. I had to use pliers to rip it off which then left a hole in my jeans.

Ok. I was a little apprehensive because of the backs of these. I didnt want them to poke into the back of the pants and then into my-extremely-rambunctious-6-year-olds back/hip. But I took a chance... Not only do they come in SEPARATE PIECES so that you can put the safty backs on the OUTSIDE, but you can flip them too! So the "hook" is facing the pants/shorts! I tried these on myself first, as I have some "yoga/athletic pants" that just love to fall down. I dont feel a thing. Super easy to take on and off to reposition. Bottom line; If your kid is a skinny kid that cant do belts and hates suspenders... these will do the trick!!

I got it for my slim-waisted daughter who can never find skirts long enough to cover her modestly in her size. She always has to get two or three sizes bigger to find something that works. These things are great for adjusting the waistline of skirts or pants. Unfortunately, these are not the easiest to unfasten and break often. Occasionally, my daughter says it's uncomfortable, so I have to make an adjustment.
