Love these dog doors! The flaps have three pieces to them. The magnets work great when they open it and it closes back.

I installed the extra large version of this doggie door into an exterior wall that leads from my garage to the backyard. In this installation, I was replacing a broken doggie door that was existing in the house when I bought it. That door was wider than any door on the market, so I had to create a frame with a narrower opening before installing this new door. The main thing is to create an opening that is close to the size of the cut out hole suggestion. And putting a hole in your house wall you have to use good sense and follow safe practices. This doggie door fit into an 8 inch thick wall perfectly. The reason I chose this door is that it will allow my two big dogs to go through, but will inhibit my cat from ever trying it. It’s an interior cat and I don’t want it to even come close to this doggie door because I don’t want it to go outside at all. The double flaps to deter the cat I would imagine. My dogs went through immediately because they are awesome. I’m so happy I chose this brand.

We had a single flap storm door dog door. We were constantly having to leave the house door open so our dog could use his door no matter the weather or season. This door is double flaps and quality construction. We installed it easily and immediately noticed a reduction in our utility bill. Highly recommend

At first glance I thought the door looked great and was exactly what I expected, however after installing in in my wall and trying to get the dog to go through it I noticed one of the flaps was misaligned and wouldn’t let the outside door open properly. The other problem I have is the screw holes for the handle are completely wrong like they sent me a handle for the wrong door. Before writing the review I tried to reach out to them but can’t seem to do anything other than return it through Amazon which isn’t really an option with a huge hole in my wall. I like the product and the design, but not too sure about the quality control of the manufacturer and lack of ability to contact anyone to address the flaws in workmanship.

This is a solid dog door, install wasn’t bad. I framed in the dog door inside the wall just to add extra reinforcement, especially to the bottom where they step on it. My issue is with the flaps. They have curled up and won’t lay flap, so it lets flys inside. No matter how much I bend them they still won’t lay flat.

Works great, no heat comes through, closes well. Sturdy enough for our 5 pitties. No issues whatsoever.

I purchased this 18 mos ago and the outside flap is already coming apart at the bottom. The magnet has separated and is falling off. I can’t even find a replacenent flap!! This door is way too expensive to have this happen and I cannot believe no replacenent flaps are available!

I haven't fully installed this yet. I do wish there was a way to secure the outside pc without putting added screws inside. I haven't got my drywall up inside yet so had to put in temporary screws inside to hold the exterior in place after putting up new siding. Purchased this style to go thru 2 x 6 walls with drywall interior, foam and new siding exterior. It does have enough depth to fully cover the opening. Also purchased with 2 flaps and ability to secure door inside due to living in a cold weather area and possible other critters ie. bears using this to enter my home. Will update once fully installed inside and after going thru a winter which can get -40C weather.

We’ve had this installed for over a year, and our two large dogs use it daily to access their dog run. It’s performed flawlessly through two extremely cold, snowy winters, with temperatures down to –30°C, and lets in barely any draft.

Needed door asap...guess that will not happened. Amazon is selling a defective dog door. Second one. Amazon wants me to return ex large dog door leaving a hole in wall, I payed 120 bucks to instal and will be more to take out, return... NO this is wrong. Product defective.
