This is one of my favorite books and I love Adam Grant. I sent each of my team members this book as a Christmas present and they found it thoughtful that their boss would think of sending a book like this. I even bought it in Spanish for my team members in Mexico.

Overview: Adam Grant remains my absolute favorite author, and Hidden Potential does not disappoint. This book is beautifully written and serves as a powerful guide for anyone looking to grow beyond their perceived limits. What I loved about this book: Real-Life Stories: The book is filled with fascinating examples and stories of real people. It covers various phases and ideas that make the science of achievement very relatable. Actionable Insights: It’s not just theory; the examples provide a clear roadmap on how to develop skills that we often think are "innate." My Favorite Part – The Growth Spiral: My personal highlight was the section about feeling stuck. I loved the realization that even when you feel like you are moving in circles, you are actually moving upward. As Adam Grant writes: "Progress is rarely a straight line; it’s more of a spiral. You might feel like you’re circling back to the same place, but you’re usually seeing it from a higher vantage point." This part reminded me that as long as we don't stop, we are making progress—even if it doesn't feel like it in the moment. This perspective shift is incredibly motivating. Final Verdict: A truly successful book that changed how I look at my own journey. Interestingly, after writing this review, I realized I feel the need to read it all over again. I am currently in a phase of my life where I feel a bit stuck myself, and I know this book has the tools to help me find that "spiral" upward again. If you want to unlock your own potential, this is a must-read!
