This is a great way to buy a great tasting ) as far as this family is concerned) peanut butter that has no palm oil or added salt. It does dry out as you get to the bottom of the tub but then a smaller jar will do that too. Try try and counter this stir it really well when first opened and then every time you use it. When on special offer from Amazon it’s £5.50 a 1kg tub which is very good value. And when it’s virtually finished your dog will love trying to get the last traces out of the tub.NB Meridian also do an organic version of this smooth peanut butter but we found it darker, drier and doesn’t taste as good than this one, but each to their own I guess.

I’ve been ordering Meridian smooth peanut butter for the last 2 years. I am in LOVE! 100% peanuts, no added oils. It tastes amazing, texture is smooth and creamy. Just finished my 2 kg stock, going to reorder soon :)

This is good value for money, but I have a couple of problems. It's very oily, even when you mix it up, because it's separated, there is a lot of oil. It's very claggy, which means it sticks to your teeth and gums and can be difficult to swallow if you take too much! And finally the flavour is quite 'flat' and a bit boring. Having said all that, I'm eating it because I've bought so much of it, and I would say it's nice in small quantities, but overall not for me personally.

This peanut butter is the healthiest in the U.K. according to my research. What gives it that unique flavour and taste? The nuts are roasted with the skins hence the flavoursome texture.This is the only peanut butter I eat, having tried other brands previously.I recommend this brand without hesitation.

I have bought Meridian peanut butter on several occasions and it has been a really good reliable product. This is the first time I have bought this on line. It is a twin tub offer. One tub is perfectly fine the other had burst where the lid joins the main container. The inner box it arrived in is full of oil and the peanut butter is around the lip of the tub.Update - the seller has promptly refunded my account and sent a lovely apology. The Meridian peanut butter is is very good as always.

It has a much more clammy feel to it than I was expecting. I use it in smoothies and unlike other brands I've bought from the supermarket (I always use only 100% peanuts, never any cheap ones), it made the drink much more slimy and sickly, so I ended up not using it.
