Works as it should.
Range is accurate. Set up is easy. Compact enough to carry in pouch. I’m happy with it.

Great tool for hunting
This is a neat, lightweight, pocket-sized laser rangefinder that displays actual and horizontal distance to a target, supposedly out to 900 yards. This is a particularly handy feature if you are hunting from an elevated stand as it allows you to quickly make any needed angular corrections to trajectory. I tested it on several different targets at known distances and found it to be repeatably and acceptably accurate (+/- ~1%). The display is large and easy to read although it is not illuminated in any way, so you are out of luck in darkness. It offers a monocular view with a listed 6X magnification and is equipped with a diopter for personal eyesight adjustment. I found the optics to be bright and acceptably clear with only a little distortion around the edges, so this is perfectly acceptable for hunting. It's not anything like high quality binoculars but then it really doesn't have to be. There is even a threaded insert in the bottom for use with a tripod, so in a pinch you could even use this as a makeshift spotting scope. The operation is simple. A push of the power button turns the unit on, and a second push activates the ranging operation, with instant display. It also offers a mode selection button so that you could use this on the golf course, but I wasn't really interested in that. The buttons are adequately sized to be used with gloves. The unit comes in a nice carrying case with a 2 1/2" wide belt loop on the back and they even furnished a small, lightweight carabiner if you want to hook it on a belt loop or pack. The case is made of a green woven denier nylon material and closes using a magnetic clasp. It even has a small mesh pocket on the side, ostensibly for carrying extra batteries, which is where I eventually found the supplied battery. The only real problem with this unit is the battery. First, it uses a single type CR2 battery which are not commonly found and can be expensive. Although it does come with a battery, I have no idea of the longevity (the display does not feature a battery life indicator, which would have been a welcome feature) so an extra battery or two would be essential if you plan to use this unit regularly. Second is the installation of the battery itself - it was a real pain. A small, printed insert in the battery compartment indicated to angle the base of the battery at about 25 degrees and press it into place. This simply did not work for me and only succeeded in bending the battery tension spring. After a number of frustrating attempts, I finally used a thin metal fingernail file to compress the tension spring, which eventually allowed successful installation. The battery compartment is very small (as is the battery) and there's just not enough space to do this easily. While I realize that this was likely done to keep the overall size of the unit as small as possible, there are easier ways to accomplish this and make battery installation less of a hassle. In summary, with the exception of the problematic battery and its installation and the lack of any illumination in the display, this is a great hunting tool. It can easily fit in a shirt pocket and provides good magnification viewing and accurate ranging data to help make your hunting trip a success.

Seems pretty accurate easy to use
I've tried this in several cases and by rough measure on GPS, the readings are pretty accurate I have not physically measured to verify the accuracy. It has a function most useful for golf included, but I haven't needed that. overall very nice for an affordable item

Compact Camo Laser Rangefinder
This review is for the Gogogo Sport Vpro 900 Yard Camo Laser Rangefinder for Hunting/Bow Hunting/Archery (and golf)This is a nice light weight compact laser rangefinder with a camo design. It has 2 different modes - depending if you are a hunter or just wanted some extra help on the golf course (they call it flag mode). It comes with a small CR2 battery that was stored in the mesh pocket of the carrying case. Inserting it into the actual rangefinder is a little bit tricky since there is not a lot of clearance in the battery area but very doable .In the "hunter mode" you can scan and get real time estimates of the yardage of distant objects or you can also lock in the measurement. Note that this only will display measurements in yards - it would have been nice to be able to also select meters and/or feet. This device allows for the angular measuring of objects so that you can get the actual and horizontal distance to your target. This is useful if you are in an elevated area (ie. in a tree blind or building) The display is relatively easy to read although it is not illuminated in any way, so you might have trouble in darkness. It would have been nice if they had a backlit display option when it is very dark outside. When pointed towards a golf flag the golf option scans the area and returns the closest measurement it finds (hopefully the golf flag). I wasn't able to test this on a golf course but it seemed to work in my backyard.Overall I'm glad I got this range finder and I'm sure it will be quite useful next time I use it.

It's Okay...
It does work but the range finder is a little off. About 3-5 feet depending on the situation. The optics are the disappointing part of this as the eyepiece is not clear and hard to see the whole readout while in use. The build quality is typical of these units with it being all plastic. That being said, the unit is very lightweight and easy to carry. The case has a magnetic closure and is very simple to open and close. Can be done with gloves and one-handed. All in all it works but if you need high accuracy maybe look somewhere else.

This is a killer deal!
Lightweight. Super lightweight. Seems quite accurate too, or at least consistent enough that I'm not concerned about inaccurate readings. I checked three known distances of 25, 50, and 100 yards and they all read right on the money each time.Especially for shooting, having the angle at which you're pointing your rangefinder is extremely useful for figuring your hold on a target. I love this little thing!I have two minor qualms, and let me stress that they're minor. The first is I wouldn't take this out in the rain. The battery compartment isn't sealed with a gasket or anything, so it's exclusively a device you'd want to take out on a clear day. Humidity may also be a downfall for this rangefinder, but I've only had it for a month and it's been a bone-dry December so far.The other qualm is the case. It's loose-fitting and the snap on the top cover doesn't intuitively line up with the snap on the case. It's just a bit too long, so it will take some conscious effort to get it closed. That doesn't seem like a big deal until you're trying to do it with one hand and can't get it to snap shut. First-world problems, I know, but it's something we take for granted and just expect to be intuitive.
