Me and my husband decided to upgrade our old double mattress as I’m pregnant and we both needed better support and more space. We purchased the premier hybrid in super king and have been sleeping on it for a month now. It has honestly been the most comfortable, pain relieving sleep of our lives! It did take about a week or two for my husband to get used to it, I was just glad to have more space, support and noticed the quality instantly! The mattress was easy to assemble, it fit our bed frame perfectly and after unrolling/decompressing, we allowed about 72 hours until we first slept on it. Allowing it to fully expand feels like it made such a difference. We would beyond recommend this particular mattress, it is an average price for what is on the market. So glad we could agree with the more positive reviews!

DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS 🚨 I cannot give it a proper comfort review because, after 8 days, I’ve only managed 3 hours on it. Yes — in those brief hours, it felt comfy. But that doesn’t matter when the mattress is toxic to the point of hospitalisation. Day 1: Instructions said wait 5 hours before sleeping on it. Because of the horrible chemical smell, I gave it 24 hours in a closed room with both windows wide open. Day 2: Smell seemed better. I threw out my old mattress, put bedding on this one, and settled in. A few hours later, I was hit with a severe asthma attack and had to abandon my bedroom. Day 3: Washed all bedding because it stank. Tried again. One hour in bed → another brutal asthma attack. It even triggered a cluster headache. At this point, I contacted Amazon and Nectar. Their “solutions”? Sprinkle baking soda on it and vacuum. Leave bowls of vinegar water around the room. Air it out longer. Are you kidding me? This isn’t a smelly cushion — it’s a toxic hazard. By Day 4 my curtains, clothes, oxygen masks — everything — reeked of chemicals. Amazon even offered me 20% off if I kept it. Hours later I was rushed to A&E with severe breathing difficulties. Doctors found burns in my airways and lungs from chemical exposure. And Amazon’s answer? “We can try to arrange a replacement.” In what world is bodily harm acceptable for a product? Why push a dangerous item back into my home? For context: My previous Eve mattress lasted 2 years before the company sold out and dumped their warranty. I paid £519 for this “Nectar” mattress. Neither Amazon nor Nectar care that it injured me. I am now awaiting an ENT referral for damage to my nostrils from this mattress.

I use Amazon all the time so was pleased they supplied our Nectar mattresses. I decided to try this Nectar Premier mattress as the reviews were generally quite positive. If taking the plunge and ordering this item be prepared to wait for delivery which takes about 10 days from placing the order. I would say that the 2 guys from Arrow kept me up to date with the delivery time and were extremely polite and courteous. Congrats to Amazon for pairing with Arrow as after all they are responsible for safe delivery. The Mattress….After unpacking from it’s box, first impressions were the King size mattress was light and easy to move on the bed. We waited for 34 hours before sleeping on it for the first time. Sleep…..The first 2 days we found the Nectar quite firm and for those days still awoke with soreness in the lower/mid back…..3rd and following nights the mattress became more comfortable and we could feel the memory foam top layers comforting to the body’s pressure points so much so the back pain was diminishing. Beds…. This is the 4th bed we have bought in as many months, Dream Cloud, Vesgantti and Gainsborough, none of which have reached our expectations other than the Nectar supplied to us be Amazon. Conclusion….. so far so good, back pain now gone and would recommend to side front and back sleepers as my wife and I are all three of these ! As we roll on with our 365 night trial I will add more comments on this page. ……….Sleep Well!
