The best Aventus clone I have come across
I was once a top 100 reviewer here on Amazon, but became disillusioned with the constant bombardment from sellers asking me for a favourable five star review. It became so distasteful, I discontinued reviews. I now only post a review when I buy a product with my own money, and find it worthwhile passing on my experience of a product to fellow buyers looking for an honest, unbiased opinion. With that said....There are umpteen similar takes of Creed's Aventus out there, and I've tried all of them. Up until now, the Perfume Parlour's effort and Victor no 9 were my go to fragrances, PP having good longevity but slightly 'vegetably' when first applied, and Victor gone to a skin scent in an hour or so.This product arrived this morning, and I have to say, it is an exact (underlined) replica of the frutiy batch of Creed that I bought (and still eke out on high days and holidays) in 2017. The jury is still out on longevity, but nothing will match the 8 hour longevity of Creed, which is why you pay £200 a bottle for it. I'll report on longevity within the week.Without doubt, this is an exceptional mens fragrance. Try it, it is a unique fragrance ( they don't call the original 'The King' for nothing), you definitely won't be disappointed, just be ready for the compliments.Edit 1st October: I have now had this fragrance for a week, and can confirm, on my skin (your mileage may vary) I am still receiving compliments on its scent after a good four hours. It remains on clothing for two or three days. It may appear to lose it's scent, but that is a known natural phenomenon (look up nose blindness), however, it still projects like a beast for hours after you think it has gone.Atlantus - 5 stars from a very very happy customer.

Not the best/worse Aventus copy
Strange one is this....on initial application it has an oily plasticky vibe that eventually turns into a reasonable copy of Aventus. For me this has quite a (too) heavy sweet syrupy pineapple scent for a while then settles down in time and smells very nice although it isn't long lasting on me. Creed Aventus is a gorgeous fragrance but I can't afford to waste money on it especially when there are so many decent clones around. Victor no.9 (my favourite) and CDN being just a few others worth looking into. My bottle had leaked a small amount (sprayer not screwed up tight) when recieved so the box was wet/label faded but the seller sent another bottle on contact....same thing happened again but to their credit I did recieve atleast the amount of product I paid for so left as was. It's nice enough without being the best and being 30ml is dearer than the other options.

A very credible Aventus copy!
I've had a couple of bottles of Creed in the past. Green Irish Tweed and Aventus. They are superb scents. I've never been a smell snob, but equally have never been tempted to try any "fake" bottles, apart some in Spain a few years back which avoid animal fixatives (musk glands) HOWEVER, with Creed prices bordering on the cost of a small car, I thought I would give Atlantus a try based on the low low risk price and generally positive reviews. So what have I found? Well I've had a squirt of Atlantus on for over 4 hours now, and it is still projecting just fine. And equally important, it does smell (to my nose at least) remarkably like Creed Aventus. There is a twinge of a lemony splash at the top just as others report, but when the dry down is complete 20 or 30 mins later, the proper mid and base notes take over. Maybe not 'quite' as much tangy wood throbbing up on top of the musk as Aventus has, but it is VERY close. And if it only lasts 4 or 5 hours, then really why care?? Its a complete bargain, and I am positive anybody in the pub or the office would pass this off as the real thing. If there are no unforeseen consequences (and none so far so unlikely to be any) then I'll be buying another bottle. It does a good job of being Aventus, and it also kicks many other branded options with similar characteristics (e.g. some Tom Ford, maybe even D2 to name a couple) completely in to touch.Try it. You might be very pleasantly surprised. I was...

Impressive
Yep, this one is a very good replica of Aventus. Having had a nice big bottle of that in a former life when I could afford it, the only thing it's really missing is the 'juiciness', but to be honest, it's not a factor that anyone but the most Creedophilic would pick up on. Given the low low cost of this, it's pretty much a no-brainer if you like to smell good; even as a standalone it would be superior to a great many of the generic fragrances on the market now.Sillage is ok - a few people have complimented me. Longevity isn't too bad; the top notes do give way pretty quickly, but it's a nice slow burn down to the bottom. On my skin, I get good projection for about 4 hours tops and then need to reapply, but it's one where reapplication does no harm whatsoever. So for what you're getting for the price, and assuming you want to smell really nice, this would be an excellent choice. Just be wary with replica brands - they might not have the physical longevity i.e. they can go off relatively quickly i.e. make sure to use it within a year to mitigate any risk.

Fishy undertones......
Ok, gotta say this did not sit well as an aftershave/fragrance called Aventus, smell was fine at first but quickly changed to weird fishy undertones?? (possibly Mackerel)the smell, even after a liberal spray did not last longer then an hour and had no lingering affect at all, for the price its overpriced, read some guy come back to reviewing as he felt it was that good, well all i can say is his sense of smell must be stunted by an abundance of nasal hair as i struggle to find the good in this fragrance

Brilliant
Really impressed, very close match.

Poor Quality
Poor quality and definitely not EDP more scented water. Smells vaguely like Aventus but not close enough. Scented lasts barely an hour. Save your money by something else.
