Delighfully relatable story for young children
Rhyming story about a teddy who is part of a primary school class where he gets taken home by different pupils for a week at a time. Then, one day, he falls out of a rucksack and goes on a hair-raising adventure.Text and illustrations are charming and small children can see various situations that they may identify from their own lives.

Brilliant teacher buy
Absolutely love this story! I have had an 'Everywhere Bear' with my classes for years prior to finding this story but the story just makes it all so much more special. This is always the first story I use with a new class to introduce our own Everywhere Bear and it stays with us the whole year, going home with a different family every weekend. The children love it!

Lovely book but damaged by driver when delivered
The book is lovely, probably a lesser known Julia Donaldson. Bought as a gift for world book day for a 4 year old, gutted that it was damaged on delivery, driver stuffed it in the letterbox and bent it despite me being in and them never even knocking on the door. Would recommend the book for sure but maybe not when it has to be delivered if you prefer your books not to be bent out of shape.

Lovely
Do you know? As the mum of a nearly 3 year old boy, I’m not the biggest fan of Julia Donaldson books. I think his nursery ruined it for us because they did the gruffalo to death & ended up frightening him to death, with that every Julia Donaldson book has some kind of ref to said character whether it’s a sticker on the front or buscuits shaped like it in cake shops & therefore takes him right back to his fear of it & you may as well be reading it backwards because he’s not listening. That doesn’t take away from her much loved books & popularity. Because this month at nursery, they are celebrating Julia Donaldson, i thought I’d prepare the boy by buying a few other books (he is a huge fan of the highway rat & the ladybird heard) by the author including ones with illustrations that are different to those in the gruffalo. I have to say, this book is beautifully written & illustrated. my boy sat thoroughly enjoying it before bed this evening & I enjoyed reading it. I have no doubt that nursery will stick to the obvious choices when it comes down to it but I’m really pleased I purchased this anyway. It’s such a nice change & refreshing to read.

Classic Donaldson rhythm
Lovely to read. Our toddler loved the story and rhythm. Surprisingly, she particularly loves the names in it. We enjoy the shameless promotion of the library too (which is where we first came across this book!)

3 year old loves it.
My 3 year old loves this book. He asks for it most evenings. It has a nice easy rhythm for reading out loud.
