Wooster Brush 48418 18" Big Ben Frame, Multi, 16 Ounce

I bought this to go with 18" roller covers from Wooster to apply an epoxy coating to my garage floor. The frame worked great. There was no flex while using it, it rolled smoothly, and it was easy to clean. I'll next be using it to paint a large, flat ceiling. The double width compared to a standard 9 inch roller cover really makes short work of covering a lot of area. The ends snap into the frame. Squeeze the tabs on the ends, pull out of the frame, insert into the roller cover ends, and reattach. I would buy this again.

Bought couple more for backup/eventual consumption. Awesome design, rigid and sturdy enough for thick epoxies and no rivets/pins to fail like on the metal ones. Haven't snapped a plastic pin yet. Nice, compact shape too. The adjustable types gum up from epoxy splatter and become non-adjustable (which may be fine but why pay for the manufacturing). I've tried them all and can't think of how to improve on this one. Maybe reduce the wall standoff somehow but this gets pretty close (about 1.5")

This is by far the best to use. Not only is it quick to paint using the 18” roller, this is very sturdy as well. I didn’t feel it wobble or anything like that. It’s worth the investment.

Man did this save time! Except the 2 days I lost after breaking one of the posts/holders and having to replace it. 2 cost $8… otherwise, when it worked the roller stayed on well, paint went on smooth, and it the frame isn’t heavy like metal 18” frames. I banged my ceiling out in no time!

Works great for large jobs

I have used every roller frame there is. What makes this the best is it don't leave those roller lines on he side. It rollers very easy because at any angle it has the same pressure. The other rollers sometimes have a tilt to it. My goto one next would but a purdy adjustable one.

Bought this to paint 1500 sq ft of ceiling. First time I used it got about 50 sq ft painted and all the sudden the paint roller fell out landing on the floor. Luckily I had painters plastic all laid out as paint splattered all over me and the plastic. It is 100% plastic with little plastic pins that go into the sides of the roller. May have been a defect but going with an all metal one now.

Simple, sturdy, won’t come loose during use like adjustable frames do sometimes, easy to clean and the shipment arrived fast.

Great product. Been using it for a couple of years now. Very strong and sturdy and able to get into narrow places when needed.

Love this roller arm. Wooster make the best gear in my opinion. The cages and poles seem to last forever and due to being all plastic this is light as a feather . Brilliant

Disclosure: I hate painting. Just finished a 1400 sq foot / 3300 board foot basement area in 3.5 hours! This system is amazing and worth every penny, especially if you lack the patience like I do...
