Gave this as a gift to my daughter as an economic alternative for her to get started with acrylic paint. She loved it. I can actually see this set as a good portable option for myself to take on a camping trip, a weekend at the lake, or even to use in my own backyard. Definitely would recommend it and buy again.

I gave this painting set to my grandson for Christmas. To my surprise, he loves it! He's even forgone his electronic devices to paint pictures.The kit is self-contained with everything a beginning painter needs. Although it only has twelve paint colors, that is actually all you need. These are student-grade paints. The main difference between student-grade and professional grade is that the pigments are cheaper and may eventually fade. The brush set is actually pretty complete with a variety of different brushes - rounds, flats, fan, etc. They work well with acrylic paint.Seems to be plenty of supports, - canvas, panels, paper to get started. I actually had to take him some more paper for painting since he has used much of his supplies already.The kit comes with a neat little easel, just right for the size of canvases.I think the price is very good for what you get with this. Although my grandson loves it, it would be a good starter kit for adults, too.

My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed this set. She's used to painting on paper, and the canvas really made a big difference. The paints seem to be of good quality. My only complaint is the size of the easel. It seems slightly too small for the canvas size. At least my daughter had to hold it from falling over while she painted near the top of the canvas.

If you have someone that likes to paint or thinks they might, this is a great starter kit. It has everything you need to get started, even canvas and an Easel. It is good quality and my daughter was really excited about it. The only thing that I will say is there is not a lot of paint here but it gives you enough to make several nice paintings and then you will probably need more. Other than that, It's a great value.

This really does come with everything you need to start painting with acrylics, no matter what level you are at. The color wheel is pretty nice to have, and there are a decent assortment of brushes and all the necessary colors for most any painting. I love that it also has an easel and lots of canvases! The canvas pad is completely new to me, and I was pleasantly surprised. I think I'm really going to enjoy experimenting with that.Good quality kit with everything you need!

my niece already paints and is very creative, so this kit is very complimentary to her growing collection. she has never painted on canvas with an easel (she's nine by the way) so this is going to be a very professional set up. the assortment of paints has a nice selection and she's already pretty good with blending tones to get the color she needs, so it's good there aren't too many colors included. the brushes are exciting too, so far she hasn't experimented with things like the fan brush or the more exact tools, so she'll get to learn at her own pace using these. it also comes with a paint pad too, which she uses flat canvas paper mostly, as she does "folding art" and makes rorshakt (sp?) abstract paintings as her main commisions (yes, her work is coveted in our family and she takes requests regularly) so i'm pretty pleased with this little kit. definitely a great value for what's included

My daughter loves to paint, and this kit was perfect. It had everything she needs for hours of fun. Acrylic paints, paint brushes, canvases, easel and paint pallet. The paint is very vibrant, has great coverage and blends well. The variety of brushes are perfect for bringing your creation to life. The are very good quality and will last for quite a while. Overall, I think this was a perfect set at a great price. I would definitely recommend.

Wow! This is a really big set of acrylic art supplies ! There is everything that one needs to start painting included . It’s all packaged very nicely so would make a wonderful gift for anyone wanting to try their hand at acrylic painting .I am not a terribly experienced acrylic artist , but I do know that I much prefer artist tubes of acrylic paints to those little bottles available in most stores. The quality of the tubes is much better for painting on canvas. This set has a nice selection of the most used colors and there is a mixing chart included so that from this set many other colors and shades of paint can be mixed.I like the canvas pad to practice with, though the canvas pad paper is suitable for framing . There is also a stretched canvas and several canvas boards included . Nice!The tabletop easel really takes this set to the next level. It’s sturdy enough to use for painting or displaying one’s artwork .The set of brushes that are included are of a very nice quality . . The mixing tray is a good size and easily washed out .All in all this is a really nice set . I’m very pleased with it .My young neighbor girl 11 came up today and we tried out the paints and supplies . She is Amish and we do some painting together occasionally . We both did the same painting and hers came out very nice so I included it in my review. The paints were wonderful as were the brushes .Very good product . Would recommend !

Paints and brushes were great quality. Such a great set for an amazing price.
