Gilmore Girls ~ Season 6 Review: Love it - Gilmore girls is such a brilliant tv series it is great to have all of it on dvd. The price for this was really good. It is a must have for girls! The fast paced conversation, the wit and the numerous references keep the story moving along at a great pace, the relationships and the ups and downs of living in a small town are very easy to relate to. Review: So nice - and so good - Loved this! So happy to have found something which doesn't feel contrived, and where it's just people living their lives. Very good writing and acting - the grandparents are superb! You wouldn't want to spend much time with them, but the writing and acting is so good that they are always real people and one simply can't hate them. Beautiful small-town setting.

We Love The Gilmour Girls
We all loved the series. However, I regret buying via Amazon and want them to start paying tax on their UK profits. It's all well and good getting things cheaply and quickly but, over the medium term, the unfair advantage given by not paying tax will see the book shops close, High Streets decline and great companies and employers like John Lewis and Marks & Spencer disappear.

continuation of a great series
We have finished the whole series now and are suffering from withdrawal symptoms. Season 6 was very good there was some angst in the episodes but it all leads nicely into what goes on in season 7.

Try this show!
If you've never watched Gilmore Girls then you are missing out. Teenage girls right through to middle aged women love it. I don't know if it's one for the guys, but if you're watching it with your girlfriend you might be surprised how much you'll enjoy it!

Love it
Absolutely loved the television series and was gutted when it finished. I waited a year and then looked at the box set but it was cheaper to buy individually.

Still brilliant, but not the best. Warning: Spoilers.
The only problem I have with this show is that the creators just love to the aggravate the fans to the tenth degree. We waited four long years for Luke and Lorelai to finally get together, only for Christopher to be thrown back into the picture in the previous season. This time, it's Luke's long lost daughter, April. Why a love child in Gilmore Girls, I'll never understand. So, of course, problems arise for our OTP. Speaking of OTPs, the whole rift between Rory and Lorelai never quite worked for me. It's ten or so episodes of pure wanting them to reconcile, rather than being able to enjoy the rest of the episode. On a positive, look out for some fantastic DAR moments, purely for some wonderful scenes with the older Gilmores and seeing Rory back to her old, lovely self. Also, some wonderful moments between Luke and Lorelai, and other hilarious anecdotes from the other characters of Stars Hollow. You can tell the moment the writers decided the whole Rory leaving Yale and hating her mother storyline wasn't working out for anyone, and the season dramatically improves from then on out. I have mixed feelings about this season. It's still brilliantly written and deserves a lot more credit than it is given, but don't expect quite the calibre of the previous seasons, particularly seasons 1-4.
