Honestly I like this backpack a lot it is pretty nice looking and feels nice to touch. It has a zipper compartment inside which makes me feel good about not getting pickpocketed while traveling. Last thing I would want is someone snatching my passport or something.

Okay, so I have (actual) OCD, and one of my themes is extreme worry that my items will break/the durability & sturdiness of things, and constant checking all the parts. (It's a headache), but needless to say, I need all my things to be durable and to seem like they'll hold up to use over time. I'm also a backpack fanatic, I use them instead of a purse because I bring a lot of stuff with me everywhere. I was looking to replace my last backpack, and this is my favorite I've ever had!! It looks great, the number of compartments and their layout are ideal, all the components are quality and durable- (I thoroughly checked that dang zipper, as they are a huge source of anxiety for me; them being weak or having rough patches where the zipping isn't smooth, etc, but these zippers pass my examination!)- and the further compartments within the pockets, without the layout being chaotic or "confusing" (too much all over), it all feels "comprehensive" (that's the OCD)....but basically, if it gets a 5 star from me, it's a 5 star... Because I'm ridiculous about stuff. I've been buying a lot from Amazon lately and this is my fave thing so far. It has the capacity of a backpack, but the aesthetic of a bag for looks appeal. And this is all for a decently low price!!

We needed a backpack under specific dimensions to fit under train and airplane seats. This pack is high quality canvas, and has enough inside space to fit two iPads, a change of clothing, two cell phones, charging cords, a makeup bag, two passports, and enough space left over for a few other things. I agree with other reviews that some water bottles won’t fit in the side mesh slots; that problem was solved with an 8oz slimline thermal water bottle. Rugged yet stylish. Can’t speak to long term durability, but it looks like new after four train rides and two flights.

I really liked the look of the backpack, and the material definitely felt good and sturdy. Unfortunately, I've since put in for a return since purchasing it because I originally bought it to take to work and for that, I need to cart a lot of stuff around sometimes.I usually cram my 54oz water bottle in one side pocket, a reusable coffee cup in the other (closed lid), and then lunchbox and other sundries into the main part of the back. The problem is that the side pockets on this backpack have almost no stretch to them. It would be perfect if they would expand out even just twice as much as they do now. I almost kept it because it really is that nice, but I figured there was no point keeping a backpack that I'd purchased for a specific purpose if it can't fulfill it.If you're fine with the side pockets not expanding more than maybe a couple inches, then this pack is no problem. It just didn't fit my needs.

I've had this backpack for awhile and I've put it through hell and has held up. I didn't think it would last, but it has surprised me.

My grandson picked this out for a birthday present. It was exactly what he wanted.

well made and usable

I wanted a backpack that wasn't too bulky or too small, and didn't look weird for a 40yo mom of two to be carrying around. I can put extra clothes in, a tablet, snacks, wipes, etc and it's taken the place of my purse but I no longer need an extra bulky diaper bag. I love it and use it daily.
