Great for cooking!
This pan is really good for making appam and paniyaram. It’s strong, heats evenly, and the food doesn’t stick. Easy to use and clean.

The Solara Appam pan is really good. As it is made up with cast iron it is very healthy and good. The heating panel heats pan evenly so no need to adjust the pan. Because of cast iron it gives good crisps to Appam. Because of cast iron it is thick and heavy and durable.

Must buy cast iron pan
Cooking in cast iron pan is an age old tradition followed by our ancestors this solara panniyaram pan is too good in it's build quality the thickness of the pan is quite heavy and it's also pre seasoned hence it acts like non stick pan so it's easy to use and panniyaram actually tastes better when cooked in this cast iron tawa rather than regular tawa

Good quality
Initially i was a bit skeptical about purchasing it online, but i am very happy with the purchase. Received quite good quality product. Good weight and excellent finish. Tried my very first batch of non oil cooking and it turned out very good. Require very less or say no oil in cooking. Heat is spread very evenly across all the 12 cavity. Cavity size is also optimum.

Seasoning Required
The first impression looks good. There is some kind of chemical coat on it. I was not sure. Did seasoning 4 times. Still it is not ready. It still sticks during cooking. It seems it will take time for seasoning. The quality and build looks solid. Rusting is there and it comes out in first starch seasoning. Performance yet to come.
