This is my second camera from this brand, so far so good, Batley charging very well even in a dull day, and holding charge no problem. Ir qas very easy to install, 4G , works well. Have a human detection, which you can deactivate, control with app is super easy, on /off sound, recording with sound, good quality, crisp picture, night vision is brilliant, on 4G max £9 for a month. Good value for money. Recommended

The media could not be loaded. The camera is extremely compact for a PTZ security camera with human detection that works great following any human detected day or night, the solar panel works well, it isn't really suitable for continuous recording which I tried but was almost flat after just 24 hours without sunlight, however by switching to alarm recording only the battery was then recharged back to almost full just by daylight even though it recorded quite a number of human detections during this period. The camera is very easy to install just 2 supplied screws into a wall plate and then 4 thumb screws secure the camera safely to the wall, 3 more for the smart solar panel which is also supplied and the camera will then work non stop for many months without any mains power or Wi-Fi just using Solar with the built in battery and a 4G data sim (all supplied). The remote access via app does seem a little slow but I think that is down to poor mobile service in my area. A very good value purchase of a hi tech security camera for a reasonable price. I am extremely happy with the camera and would happily recommend it before any of its competitors.

I've had an indoor Genbolt camera for years and it's been great, so I thought I'd try their solar one so I didn't need to run cables.So far it has proven very good. We haven't had enough sun to have it on constant record, but to just drop in and view the battery is full from the light we've had. It's very well built for the price and dead easy to fit. I knew it wasn't HD but for SD it's very good. The camera responds well to pan and tilt from the app, as does the basic zoom. It detects me on in the garden no problem. Night vision - black and white - is clear and covers a fair distance.It looks good on the wall, not an eye sore and the solar panel is remarkably small.I'd buy another Genbolt, but probably save a bit more for the HD one. Oh yes, the app is straightforward and easy to use, nothing over complicated and everything set up and ran no problem for me. Thanks

For various reasons I've bought a 4 different Wi-Fi Security Cameras over the last few weeks. By testing these out I hope my following review provides useful information for people considering buying this GENBOLT Wi-Fi Security Camera compared with other similar products available on Amazon today.One major criteria when buying a security camera is resolution, a CCTV security device with less than 2.0MP 1080P resolution simply is not worth buying as you cannot really see things clearly which defeats the object especially if you want to capture the facial features of a burglar (recently I captured a burglar on an inferior 760P device, which was to grainy to capture facial details). The GENBOLT product has a good 2.0MP 1080P resolution which gives nice clear pictures so you can actually see what you are looking and capture facial details rather than a pixelated mess. The GENBOLT product provides much clearer image resolution than a CleverDog 960P Wi-Fi Security Camera, which at May 2017 retails for the same price, circa £50.Another selection criteria is ease of use of the software, many Chinese manufactured devices come with baffling support manuals and user interfaces that are badly thought out. Firstly, I found it easy to connect the GENBOLT Security Camera to my home Wi-Fi and the connection is very reliable. Secondly, the Pan Tilt and Zoom feature is easy to use and excellent especially when monitoring remotely from an iPhone, the zoom feature is not so good for close up as the picture becomes pixelated. Thirdly, the mobile application is not very user friendly, for example it is difficult to figure out the parameters to set in order to control the recording and retrieval of videos to/from a local SD SAN disk (which needs to be bought separately). So I docked a star on my rating for ease of use and hope that GENBOLT work on enhancing the mobile application that supports this product. Out of the 4 other security cameras I tested, the GENBOLT user interface was better and more intuitive than CleverDog 960P Wi-Fi Security Camera and UCAM247 Full HD Security Camera; but not as simple and intuitive as the Ring DoorBell Pro Security camera.In summary, this is well priced, the product is well made build quality and relatively easy to use with some great features. So it is a good product and I would recommend it for people looking for a low cost Wi-Fi Security Camera.

Really pleased with this camera , straight out of the box , followed the instructions connected my phone to the camera very easily on the app. Screwed the securing plate in place and within minutes my camera was working perfect and in position. The camera can be rotated and position easy with the phone screen joystick. Great purchase . Would recommend!

The Camera is Excellent, well made and attractive to the eye.. HOWEVER the instructions are absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to decipher?? I managed to connect the Camera to my Phone BUT it is totally unclear how to manipulate the Camera through it's implied actions? If you are buying a camera of this type I suggest that you buy the Aanke Camera which is very similar BUT so simple to set up and operate!SORRY but the Camera is on it's way back to you! The instructions were Impossible to work out, so I purchased a SANCE Camera at half the price which took me 15 minutes to set up, it does everything yours does except the SD Card is only 64GB which is more than satisfactory for me! You must lose a tremendous amount of business due to your totally indecipheral instructions!
