micro: bit in Wonderland: Coding & Craft with the BBC micro: bit (microbit) First Edition

I love it, love it! I have bought many books recently to help to teach my kids technology and this one is, without question, the best book I've recently found.This book is amazing because:+ Introduces the "BBC micro:bit"- for the ones that don't know it, its a simple and very inexpensive programmable board developed by the British Broadcasting Company - it cost less than US$20+ It teaches the parent and the kids the basics of coding+ It combines coding with physical objects - the kids can see in the physical word the impact of the coding+ It is a great idea to use a classic story such as Alice's Adventures in the Wonderland as an inspiration - it is not required but it strongly suggests to read the book+ It is not a book only for girls (as the author mentioned) but it may draw attention from more girls to be interested in STEAM - a big plus!I cannot wait for start working on the crafts with my kids. They (and especially myself) will love it!Thank you for writing this great book!

This book is incredible. It has so many ideas on how to use the micro:bit. You can use the ideas in this book to adapt it to what you are doing. I can'twait to get started. It is not too complicated and uses regular every day supplies.

OK if you are a big Alice in Wonderland fan, but I was hoping for new fun projects ... these are too connected to the book for my taste
