Pioneer TS-G1720F 17 cm 280 W Coaxial G Series 2-Way Speakers

So glad I upgraded my standard speakers. So glad I did matching pairs front and back. Very happy I chose these. Have waited 3 months before writing this review as have been warming up the speakers gently and have only been cranking the volume right up in recent weeks. Wow. I did a four door upgrade with adaptor rings and oem plugs with a small amount of soundproofing behind each in the door, using two pairs of these. The car was previously my partners for several years until she upgraded to something newer. She recently travelled in this vehicle for the first time in months and was well impressed by the upgraded sound. Excellent sound clarity at all volumes. Distinct bass line. Fit, performance, and look all exactly as described. Build quality assurance from Pioneer established audio brand.

Very good for the price, purchased as replacement for 2 dead speakers in a Ford Focus 2.5 I purchased 4 speakers as the Ford OEM Speakers were really expensive so replaced them all. I have found a vast difference in the sound quality much clearer and a deeper bass than stock Ford speakers even running on the stock head unit the 6000cd. Well impressed.

Very good speakers for the price, though the bog standard stock ones I still have in the other two mounts in the car, despite being "inferior" do sound slightly better!! But can't really moan for the price I guess.

Didn’t expect much from the g series but wow. They certainly pack a punch. Not as good as my z series. But definitely 500% improvement on stock

Bought a pair of these to replace original paper cone speakers in a Peugeot 306 convertible which were totally blown. At first glance they looked to be of decent construction with plenty of mounting holes around the rim to make for easier installation. They are quite shallow and have a fairly small magnet though but they didn’t disappoint. The sound is clear, bass handling is reasonable and they don’t distort easily. Overall they are good value and I will be buying another set to replace the rears.

Valutazione: ★★★★★ Avevo acquistato questo modello di casse Pioneer per una Fiat Bravo del 2007: lì ho dovuto usare degli adattatori per montarle correttamente. Sono rimasto così soddisfatto dal risultato che, cambiando auto, ho deciso di ricomprarle identiche anche per la Citroen DS4 del 2013. In questo secondo caso non ho avuto bisogno di adattatori: due fori combaciavano perfettamente con quelli originali dell’auto. Per una maggiore sicurezza, ho comunque utilizzato il pratico sistema di fissaggio incluso nella scatola (graffette filettate in metallo e viti) per un montaggio perfetto. Il suono è chiaro, ben bilanciato e decisamente migliore rispetto agli altoparlanti originali, anche considerando che questi sono nuovi e gli originali avevano già parecchi anni di servizio. La confezione è molto completa: ci sono cavi già pronti con terminali isolati, utilissimi per evitare problemi elettrici. L’installazione è stata semplicissima però ai non esperti consiglio di rivolgersi ad un professionista. Punti a favore: Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo Audio potente e pulito Facili da installare, tutto incluso Ricomprate per una seconda auto: più soddisfatto di così! Consigliatissime! Los compré para reemplazar los altavoces delanteros de un Citroën C4 de 5 puestas del 2005 y funcionan muy bien. La mejora respecto a los envejecidos altavoces de fábrica ha sido tremenda. Se puede escuchar a buen volumen y con buenos bajos (el factor limitante en este coche es que empiezan a vibrar otras partes, pero los altavoces aguantan bien). Sin duda volvería a comprarlos, excelente relacion calidad precio. Sin ser de una calidad suprema se ve que estan bien construidos. Los altavoces son coaxiales (de dos vias). Esto tiene dos implicaciones, una buena y una mala: - La buena: los agudos son buenos y nítidos (aunque en este caso son algo estridentes, pero nada alarmante, sólo hay que bajar el treble de la radio un par de puntos) - La mala: al tener el cono principal perforado en el centro los bajos empeoran un poco y empiezan a distorsionar un poco antes que sus hermanos de una sola vía, los TS-G1710F. Si no necesitais la doble via (por ejemplo porque los vais a poner en las puertas delanteras y en el salpicadero ya hay tweeters) os recomiendo a sus hermanos TS-G1710F que tienen un desempeño de bajos algo mejor. En esta misma línea, gracias a la experiencia que he tenido, os recomiendo que: si disponeis de tweeters en el salpicadero (o similar) no useis altavoces de doble vía. Os quedará un sonido con demasiados agudos. Quedaos con una sola via, incluso para los altavoces traseros (poner doble via atrás perjudicará el "sound stage": los agudos deben provenir de delante).
