Excellent Fix for Ghost Peddling
Ok, I’m an old guy, I turned 75 this past week. I bought an e-bike because I’m not that strong, and I wanted the bike to assist me with the peddling. My e-bike will goo 28 Mph, but it was sold with chainring that only allows me to peddle up to about 15 Mph. Beyond that and I am doing what they call Ghost Peddling. I went down to my local shop and they found me a 53 tooth chainring that helps, but I can still only peddle up to about 17 Mph. I did some more searching and found this 60 tooth ring and had my dealer install it on my e-bike. I have been testing the 60T now for a few weeks and it works great. I can now peddle comfortably up to PAS 6 (of 9 levels) at a speed on 19 Mph. I have even tested it up to the highest PAS 9, and I can still keep up at 28 Mph, but of course that is only for sprinting which I don’t do a lot of. The quality of this chainring is great, it fit fine, and the price was reasonable. My dealer was a little concerned that I might not be able to downshift from 7th gear to first gear, but that hasn’t been an issue. Shifting works fine. The only downside to this ring is that it doesn’t include a shield, so you could get your pant leg caught in the chain. My personal experience is that there is plenty of room between the ring and my pants. I did have the chain come off once, and I think it was because caught the chain on the up stroke, but that hasn’t happened again, and it was very easy to stop and put the chain back on and continue. No problem. My dealer did put on a new longer chain when I had the ring installed. Very happy with this purchase.

YBEKI chainring review
Purchased the 40 tooth chainring for a bike project I was working on. I was impressed with the look and finish of the chainring and how well it fit on an older crank arm set.

Looks amazing.
My only gripe would be it's thicker at the mounting holes than what I had. I needed longer chainrings bolts. Other than that. The quality is great. Looks amazing. And it's a narrow wide ring for single chainrings bikes. Alot of bang for the buck.

Switch to 1 X 11 gearing to increase speed of shifting.
I switched from a 3 X 8 gear shift to a 1 X 11 on my recumbent bike. I can switch gears with just one hand and it is much faster, and simpler. My top end speed is up and I hit 30 mph riding in the Tour de Scottsdale.

Not good for double or triple
The outside of this chainring is machined beautifully and it feels well made. However two stars subtracted for a faulty description. The back of the chainring is not machines with ramps and pins to make shifting smoother and secure like other chainrings at the same price. Moreover, the bolt holes do not have a recess machined into the back to prevent chainring bolts from sticking out and interfering with the chain on the middle or inner ring. this makes it useless for many double or triple cranksets.

Was sich der Hersteller hier gedacht hat, ist vollkommen rätselhaft. Das Kettenblatt hat abwechselnd jeweils Zähne für Schaltungskette und Singlespeed-Kette, ist also für Kettenschaltung vollkommen ungeeignet, weil eine Schaltungskette damit auf jedem 2ten Glied aufsitzt und gar nicht greift. Auf dem Kettenblatt selbst ist aber ausdrücklich die Verwendung für 9/10-fach Kettenschaltungen aufgeprägt. Das Kettenblatt ist ausschließlich für Singlespeed-Antriebe mit breiter Kette verwendbar !
