The Ridge Products Duke adjustable welding lens is works very well! It gives me a super clear view of the puddle and makes welding much easier. It is built well, fit the opening in my hood well and functions perfectly. I’m very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Honestly kinda skeptical with this product because it was cheaper than all the other products I’ve seen. It looks cool and functions exactly how it’s listed, I see clearly and over all it’s nice and slim/durable. I would recommend

I have to start off by saying I had no confidence in this product when I bought it yet I still did and man do I not regret it it’s been the best lense I’ve ever used it’s definitely on the dark side for sure but then again I weld with dark safety glasses I would highly recommend it

I love the color quality on this bad boy! i was using a standard greenish shade beforehand and the true color is a lifesaver, less blurry too. I also appreciate the easy settings access. If you are looking for quality at a good price, this is the pick

Old review with 2 stars:“Rechargeable batteries” went out 3 months after use while I was putting in a root in a full penetration weld that gets tested. I use the lens often enough for it to hold a charge.Sensors aren’t good enough, I have flashed myself several times while finishing a vertical weld inside a beam.When sensors are not going off the lens is very dark and hard to see out of compared to other lens.The color is very, very blue which isn’t very pleasant to be looking at all day. I’d prefer a less intense blue and more of an HD clear/gold color or at least a lease intense blue.Overall pretty disappointing, I bought ON SALE for $79.99, it is now $59.99 and on sale for $49.99. Kind of a rip off if you ask me. Might as well spend the extra money on a quality lens you know won’t die out in a few months or flash you so often. This lense will technically get the job done but wouldn’t recommend someone who welds full time.Updated review with 1 star after customer service reached out:I applaud the customer service here but you simply can’t polish a turd. They offered me a full refund and offered to send me 2 different lenses to try out. I was impressed with that and loved the opportunity to give them another shot. I was sent the heir lens and another prince lens when I was told they’d send me a different lens. Oh well.Still having issues of being arc flashed mid weld in tight spots. This has happened to me several times while putting on roots in tested full penetration welds. This affect my productivity at the shop I work at and is very frustrating when I have to grind something because I nearly go blind. If you are working on a flat surface with no tight spots, sure get this lens. But if you work in an environment that demands high quality work, this lens is simply a safety hazard. I threw them in the trash, my vision is more important than this junk. Do not buy this lens.As for ridge: install more sensors. Problem solved.

This is an incredibly clear lens. I run it in my pancake and it’s just great clarity. Most of my work is high amperage and about an 11.5-12 is the sweet spot on the adjustment. The sensors are very sensitive, but I’d rather that than the opposite. Overall I am very pleased and feel like I got a good value. Customer service is excellent as well.
