Exactly as advertised
Easier to keep your tools sharp, change the "blade" and you're on your way. Each blade has four sides and are easily installed and turned to keep your gouge sharp. I have used these to turn pens and other small turnings. I am not a great sharpener so this is a great usage for me. Only caveat is to be careful when installing and changing sides. The blades are obviously very sharp. Great tool and very useful. Good value for the money as well.

As good as OEM
These perform just like the OEM inserts on my spiral cutter head at 2/3’s the cost.

They are very fragile
It’s easy to replace broken teeth but that’s really a good thing because they are very fragile and break easily. I have a spiral head cutter on my Power magic jointer and have never replaced any teeth on it. I’ve replaced over ten teeth on my Byrd cutterhead so far in about two hours of planing.

Work well in our planer
These blades, at least some of them, worked well in our planer. Some of the blades were marked differently (but were in the same order) and didn't work. Hence the 4 star review. But the ones that worked are great. And the seller ABSOLUTELY made it right. I will order from them again when I need more blades!!
