I am so happy with this weighted stuffed dog. He weighs about 4 lbs and is so soft and plush. I love the collar that says Be Happy. He’s very well sewn. His eyes are riveted in place and are quite secure. His paws are detailed with embroidered paw prints. I have not experienced much shedding of the fur at all. He is quite giftable and would be fine for children over the age of four. I think he is a great value for the price and a perfect sleeping buddy.

My son loves this dog, and it has helped him calm down when anxious or needing to focus; HOWEVER, the fur sheds like crazy which is really annoying considering that my son with ASD tends to have chewy necklaces that get covered in fur then transferred into his mouth. I thought washing it would help get off the loose fur, but there are NO washing or care instructions. The two stars are only because he likes it so much. I wish I would've bought a weighted animal from another seller with a removable weight pack for washing the outer shell.UPDATE: I'm updating my rating to 4 stars because now that the newness has worn off, the stuffie isn't shedding anymore - it did take several months for it to stop shedding, but it's fine now, and my son loves it! I do still wish we could wash it, though. This poor stuffie has had all sorts of things spilled on it, and I can only spot clean it with a damp cloth - that doesn't really get it clean.
