Bbq Sauce Pappys Xxx White Lightning, 12.7 FZ

I first became a big fan of Pappy's White Lighting BBq sauce when I lived in Illinois. I could find it at a local Safeway and fell in love with the bold flavor.Several years later my husband became interested in competition BBQ and I had his mother (who still lived in Illinois) bring us a bottle because I couldn't find it anywhere locally. Again it was amazing but a real hastle to obtain.Now, I'm pleasantly surprised to see it here on Amazon. Congrats Pappy's you made it to the Big Time! This will make it much easier for us to purchase regularly.On to the sauce itself, it's on the thin side but don't let the consistency here fool you. If your not a fan of spicy foods, I suggest the Sauce for Sissy's (also by Pappy's).This sauce packs a mild punch as far as heat level. Thanks to the sugar & bourbon the heat is counteracted nicely and the acidic vinegar brings it all together for an amazing Kentucky BBQ sauce like no other.I did this review to help anyone considering this product because I think it's amazing and well worth the money spent. Found this sauce at at barbecue rib fest in Sparks Nevada over 20 years ago and do not use anything else since. You will not be disappointed as this sauce has a flavor the completion does not.

I do not like a very sweet BBQ. I love this. I ordered 3 different flavors. Even though it had bubble wrap on it, one of the bottles leaked. The lid had come loose even though the cap was in one piece.

I initially found this sauce at a Firehouse Subs in Athens, Ga and fell in love with it while in college. I bought it because the Firehouse Subs ran out and never got another shipment so I had to hunt it down. It goes well on anything but you definitely can't go wrong with a good barbecue sandwich.

I will be buying this one again. Not a thick heavy sauce. It has a very good tangy sweetness that is hard to find on most BBQ sauces.

Our favorite bbq sauce we have ever found. The label on the bottle is not the same as pictured so i thought i recieved the wrong one, but it taste just fine. Quick shipping!

Wrong product received twice... the sauce in the picture is one of my favorites but it's not what I received either when I ordered it or was sent a replacement. The seller needs to correct the listing or remove it.

This sauce is every bit as delicious as the five star reviews indicate. A complex blend of flavors and just the right amount of heat, not overwhelming. It kinda builds through the meal. I've never been much of a steak sauce kinda gal, but this stuff has won me over. I'm going to give some as little gifts, for those folks that have everything and are hard to buy for. I know that they will be won over too.
