I was ready to replace a worn out pet bed, and this bed is the perfect size for my 10-lb cat. It's soft and cushy, and the cat took to it right away— a real plus because cats can be picky. I haven't needed to wash it yet, but it appears to be well made and I expect it will do just fine in the washer and dryer.
