Nice unit; wish it came in different colors, but I need the security. Comes with shorter screws & drywall anchors! (Whoever would mount something like this in drywall must have rocks in their head!) I mounted this on the outside corner, by the tub/shower area, so that I could use it to clamber over the tub wall. Also, there should be a doubled 2x4 in that area. I used 3” deck screws to get through 1/2” drywall & the metal phalange of the handle, and then ~ > 2” into the 2x4’s. With 8 screws like that, it should certainly support my 250 lbs., if I slip. Seems plenty solid to me. Like I said, nice product & would definitely recommend. And, the rings/stripe on this unit glows in the dark. Don’t know that I’d use it in the dark, but it’s cool. (Also, the handle on this unit was thicker than most others; I liked that.)

I have a couple of steps at the front of my house. I wanted something to hang on to. My house is white. This is exactly what I needed. Easy to install. I did use different screws because I wanted screws that were sturdy.
