FRCR: PART 2A - Single Best Answer (SBA) Questions for the New Format Paperback – 15 Feb. 2010

A Good book.

I am struggling to understand the positive reviews this book has received. Particular lowlights include...1) Multiple errors2) Rare topics over-represented compared to common ones3) Blatant direct conversion of old MCQ questions into the new SBA format (e.g.. "which of the following is true?")

Many of the questions asked in March 2012 sitting were based on this book. The explanations for each questions are given in detail. No doubt that it is the best of all the available MCQ books for FRCR 2A.

Echoing some previous reviews, this book is pretty awful; the Qs are highly ambiguous / does not make sense at all, and the answers are perplexing / unhelpful. Not worth the money or time.

Brief expalanations. Not as comprehensive as other question books

Nice book , updated , specified points and covering most subjectsGood for rapid review & for board review is accepted

If you're about to take the 2A exams, this book is one not to miss. I found the questions quite similar to those in the exam i.e. single best answer, which challenge knowledge rather then MCQ technique.

Errors all over the place. I had to stop reading it.
