CAP Barbell Adjustable Weighted Vest | Various Sizes

So I bought this with some hesitation since it's my first time buying a weighted vest and description wasn't overly clear if it did or did not come with weights. On the plus side YES the vest DOES come with weights, the vest feels well constructed, attaches to your body tightly and securely, and due to lots of velcro and thick straps this vest could easily be adjusted for larger or smaller body sizes. Is it worth the $35 I spent, absolutely 100% YES.Now the negative. The weights (which are like little sand bags) are inserted on the inside of the vest against your body which means if you tighten the vest these mini sand bags sort of poke into you. Not the end of the world, but honestly seems like an odd design (I did review pictures and that's the way it's designed). Secondly there are hooks on the front and sides of the vest and I honestly have zero idea what those are for or why they are there? But the biggest negative for me is that the vest is somewhat hot and leaves an odor on my shirt after wearing the vest. I'm not sure if the odor is from the sand bags that are against my body or from the vest itself but each time I wear it I have to change my shirt since honestly my shirt stinks badly after and if wear the vest for more than 30 minutes I'm starting to sweat where the vest is since the vest is hot and not very breathable. I am hoping this odor will diminish over time.If you're new to buying a weighted vest I would honestly 100% say it's worth the $35. However, if you're willing to do a little research and spend a little more money I am sure there are other options out there where the weights don't poke you, the vest does not have an odor, and is the vest is more breathable. But again this vest is well made, and well worth the $35 and I'm happy with the purchase and it's a great value for the money.

This is an excellent vest for the price. The value can't be beaten. The vest's weight is nicely distributed. Yes, you had to put in some work to insert the weights but so what? With the velcro straps, the vest is very secure on you. Also I have had no issues with its durability. For me, personally, the only reason I took a star away is because the strap digs into the top of my shoulder. I'm looking into putting some cushioning in that area and hopefully that will resolve the problem. I am 100% sure there are better and more comfortable vests on the market but they aren't cheap. If you have cost on your mind, then I recommend this vest. If you can afford a better one, then go for that better one. In summary, this is a solid vest for a great price.

I love this vest it’s legit and does its job! Only issue is be careful cause the sandbags leak out and make everything black on you.

Fits perfectly , not really the best for running, it doesn’t get tight enough. Overall, good product for hiking and walking and exercise. Not running.

Wore first time today. I’m 71 and a walker, most is 11 miles. Walk average 5-7 miles daily. Tried vest today, 6lbs and very manageable! Highly recommend and the price is fabulous.

Fits well. Adds the extra resistance I was looking for. Seems to be well made. Not sure what the metal rings are for.

I ran my first mile ever with 8lbs on. My time was 8:30, now; I finish at 7:30 and it’s damn tough to get that any lower without practicing on 8lbs and getting used to the weight. I’ve incorporated weight training aside from cardio with this and I can honestly say I’ve built muscle and lost weight with my workout routine. I haven’t gone more than 8lbs. I suggest starting with 4lbs on a treadmill/track/or cardio! Once that third lap hits or you go in for that last set on a HIT workout, that weight creeps up quick!

Rock solid construction. Each bag in the 40lb model is 2.5 lbs to the number. Good comfort, nice Velcro belt, bags are added or removed for more or less weight. Fits like a Kevlar or body armor vest. For those who love a hellacious weighted-workout, this is a good product at a good price.

Love this vest very high quality and isn’t bulky for someone who is smaller.

This vest is more comfortable than expected. It is also very durable and it is easy to adjust the fit. The 2.5 pound weights allow it to be customized easily.

If you want to run with this weighted vest you need to strap it pretty tight to make it stick to your body.You can hurt yourself if the vest is loose.A little downside : the metal D-rings passthrough the material, I had to tape them
