After buying one of these pumps, I bought 2 more. They really are good pumps for a fair price. Very powerful and quiet. The only weak point is the adapter socket. The included hose adapters fit snuggly at first but after replacing it several times, it comes out of the socket with the slightest pull. It’s not that big of a deal. I designate the pump for 1 setup, pick the right barbed adapter, put a few drops of superglue and push it into the socket. The adapter stays in place permanently, yes, but since the pump has one designation, there’s no need to ever remove the adapter and it stays in place as it should.

This pump is extremely powerful and pumps the water in our little garden fountain very fast. I was able to slow down the flow so that our waterfall fountain sounds more like a waterfall and trickle than a raging river. So this pump is probably a little more powerful than I needed for the tiny garden waterfall we have, but I bet this would power the flow of water pretty nicely in larger hardscaped ponds and such.Pretty quiet pump too. I don't hear it over the sound of the water trickle, so that's good.
