Better than the others, specifically if you compare with sandisk counterparts. Wish 512 GB Variant was available though. Giving better and consistent speeds than even a conventional HDD. (Almost similar write speed and Double+ the Read speed of conventional HDD) My specific Use : Mini Network Attached Storage. Being a full time photographer and not having a proper NAS system, i had connected 1TB SSD to my router but as my router's usb port was not able to utilize the full bandwidth of 1000 MBps, it felt like wastage of the resource. This mini NAS is used mostly to store temporary files which can easily be accessed from multiple devices connectedto my home network. Previously I had lots of issue with most of the usb drives mostly in the terms of their slow speed and inconsistency. One day I got to see the flash drive while window shopping and felt like trying. Ordered it through Amazon during bed time and got it delivered in the morning. At first view I was delighted with the form factor. Build quality is solid, though the casing is Plastic with a metallic matte finish it feelspremium. Soon, I made it go through multiple tests and I was agin amazed with the performance. Speed was nothing in comparison to the ssd which it was going to replace but still it was better than a proper HDD. Test 1 Macbook M1 Max connected through Dell Thunderbolt Dock File size 75.19 GB Write time 11 min 16 Sec, Average Speed 113 MB/s Read time 3 min 53 Sec, Average Speed 330 MB/s Test 2 Dell XPS Intel i5 8th Gen. connected through Inbuilt USB Port. File size 75.19 GB Write time 11 min 26 Sec, Average Speed 112 MB/s Read time 4 min 29 Sec, Average Speed 286 MB/s Test 3 Blackmagic Disk Speed Test Write Speed 116 MB/s Read Speed 310 MB/s Just for comparison I did a Speed Test for Sandisk Hard Drive File size 75.19 GB Write time 9 min 42 Sec, Average Speed 132 MB/s Read time 9 min 28 Sec, Average Speed 135 MB/s Cons Not of much concern to me as the outer shell never even feels warm properly yet, after pulling out the drive one can feel the heat at the metalic portion. Samsung’s Claimed speed is said to be at 400 MB/s but that is for the 512GB Variant as that is USB 3.2 Gen 1, So will be keeping an eye for the same. To be honest, someone who creates 50+ GBs of data daily on an average, I have came across dozens of thumb drives / Pen drives / Flash Drives in my 6 years of carrier and none of them has given me this consistent and satisfying results.

This one is amazing.. Incredible read and write speed. Lots of memory. Feels like a sturdy durable one as well. Value for money. Thanks Amazon and Samsung..👍
