This is a slim case but I am not sure how much protection it really may offer from serious drops. That said, it fits the case well; all the buttons are easy to use on the phone with the case installed so it is easy to operate the phone. This case doesn’t offer any protection for the front of the phone (screen) but that can be acquired separately and most other cases do not offer it either. The fact that it is not as substantial feeling as some other cases may not affect the ability of the case to protect the phone, but I just feel in my gut that it might not. This isn’t a bad case; but I think I would prefer a different style of case for my oen peace of mind.

So this would have been a 4 star product for me because I do like the “Look” and the “Feel” of the case, but!, and this is quite a big but for me, the Magsafe connection with this case feels weak to me, let me explain.I use a Magsafe ring on my phones so I can keep a better grip of them when using them, having my internet through the ring just gives me the confidence I won’t drop my phone, however the “Magnetic” connection is quite weak with this case, so I don’t have the confidence that I actually have a decent grip of my phone. i also use MagSafe chargers, in various locations, and when I have this case on, my phone doesn’t attach as easily as it previously has with other MagSafe cases.So those 2 MagSafe functions not being as nice or as “Solid” in my opinion as I’d like, or am used to, I have given this case a 3 star score. Now it’s fair to say that if I wasn’t bothered about the MagSafe function so much, I think I’d probably be given this case 4 stars as is, because the construction and feel of the case is very nice.I really like how the case feels in my hand, the rear panel being made of the “PU Leather” makes it quite soft, and I think nice to hold, and I also very much like the way in which it looks, I think it goes very well with the “TPU” plastics of the case, and with both having different finishes, I think they do compliment each other in the aesthetics of the case, and thus my phone.The build quality feels good too, I like the feel of the buttons as I press them, they give me a decent amount of tactile feed back, so I know I’ve pressed them, and just feel like I’m pressing a proper button as opposed to being mushy or loose. The bumpers have the finish of the “TPU plastic” which has some nice “Chevroned” grip patterning in some areas, and just over all, feels grippy and easy to hold, and like it will protect my phone in the case of an accidental drop or knock.Now the rear panel is where the aesthetic of this case shines in my opinion the “PU Leather” has a nice Matte finish, with a visible grain that just looks nice, almost luxury, and then coupled with the “High Gloss” & “Matte” finish of the bumpers in “TPU plastic” just sets the case off very nicely I think. There’s also what I think is some very tastefully done branding in one of the corners of the rear panel, which I think adds to the aesthetic nicely.All in all, I think this would give my phone a level of protection in minor drops, knocks, and bumps, and looks good, and I do like the feel in hand quite a lot. My only “Slight” issue is how strong the MagSafe connection is, and I think if it was stronger, for me personally, and the way I use my phone, I would of easily given this 4 stars.

Brilliant phone case. Sturdy and with a magnetic ring so you can use magsafe chargers. Well worth it.
