3m Cavilon No-Sting Barrier Film, Gentler Way to Protect Skin From Body Fluids, Adhesives, and Friction, Alcohol Free Barrier Film, Hypoallergenic and Latex Free, 28 ml Pump Spray

I've been attached to a wound vacuum for a month now with another month to go. The wound is covered with large (8x10 inch) drapes of adhesive plastic, which are changed every three days. My skin around the wound was getting raw and in some areas the skin was blistering. Ouch! A nurse had Cavilon in small 1-inch pads, which worked beautifully around the wound, but it was hard to cover larger areas. I purchased Cavilon in a spray bottle, and the nurse was able to apply it to my leg (12x15 inch area). The adhesive drape went down smoothly & it adhered perfectly to the skin. It provided an excellent air-tight grip, which is necessary for the wound vacuum to do its job in helping my wound heal. The spray protects blistered skin & existing skin irritation. Well worth the price for the comfort it provides.

Absolutely the best spray. Creates a clear skin barrier, easily washes off, dries almost instantly. Why did Medicare no longer cover this?

The product itself is wonderful. Highly recommend. But this particular bottle isn't sprayin well. Since I use this product everytime I change my ostomy bag, I had extra spray bottles. So I poured this bottle into another bottle. Really helps with making the area sticky but clean to keep skin fresh and bag attached well. Price is ok.

This is an EXCELLENT skin prep if you are placing adhesives on skin (glucose monitor patches, ostomy appliances, VAC adhesive drapes, band-aids, etc) and want them to stay in place AND be as comfortable as possible when you are taking them off. Highly recommended.

Great product! Stronger than the wipes I feel.

As an ostomy patient it has been hard to find a product that doesn't irritate my skin after so many days of having the appliance on. This product you can just spray it on your skin and the stoma and then spray it on the wafer or the paste and let it dry for a minute and stick both sides together and seems to work extremely well without any irritation. Would recommend.

Amazing snd necessary for site changes for insulin pump or CGM devices. Especially if you consider yourself to have sensitive skin to adhesives etc. value for money worth every penny!

Ha sido comprar esto y empezar a ver la herida curarse.. habíamos probado todo y esto es lo que ha funcionado.. Leer bien el prospecto porque es ALTAMENTE INFLAMABLE así que hay que tener cuidado. Muy recomendable.
