This lockset looks classy and feels great with no sharp or rough edges. There isn't excess play or noise when the handle is turned and the lever is much easier to use and convenient when your hands are full of groceries.I installed this on the garage entry door specifically because of the convenience of use when our hands are full (of groceries). I will get another for the front door and replace the rest of the door knobs in the house with this style. I currently have Baldwin Prestige Alcott knob series on the front door but will move it to the basement entry. It is 5 years old and still looks and feels brand new.SLIGHT CON: this uses Smart Key lockset which I wouldn't feel comfortable using without my Medeco deadbolt and door armor kit. Smart Key may be a pro for you though.

Absolutely beautiful, they feel so sturdy, heavy duty ... I didn’t know a door handle could feel expensive and luxurious but these do! Really jazzed up plain 6 panel doors. The color is perfect.... think upscale oil rubbed bronze. Easy to install and came quickly. The locking feature ensures little ones can’t lock themselves inside ... unlock with the turn of a handle.

Stunning color and finish

This is my second Baldwin keyed entry lock and they first one lasted nearly 30 years. You can feel the solid build of these locks compared to other brands, more heft and smooth and firm functioning. Looks great installed too, and rekeying it with the SmartKey took less than a minute from start to finish. Really, no joke!I would have given it 5 stars except the set screw to attach the exterior handle is inserted backwards and must be removed by backing it out through a hole on the other side of where it screws in using the included allen wrench. The screw also keeps the interior locking knob from turning until you remove that screw, none of which is mentioned in the instructions. Also the handles were not threaded to receive the set screw. Even with that it is still a heavy duty nice looking lock set.

It was easy to install and a really quick way to upgrade the look of your door. The re-keying feature is also really handy to maintain the use of your existing keys. Would recommend it for a clean modern look.
