Good for Pinning Miniatures!
I bought this specifically to pin miniatures and create supports for other crafts. It is perfect for that use. It is sturdy but flexible so if it needs to bend a bit to fit, no problem.Easy to cut with a wire cutter.Next use is creating skeletons for polymer clay sculpts!

Very easy to cut, and very bendable! Good for some projects, not all
This wire is exactly as described - 16 gauge aluminum wire. However, whether it would be useful to you or not strongly depends on what you plan to use it for. It’s aluminum so it’s very pliable and incredibly easy to cut - it’s no match for the basic school scissors I’ve had for 15+ years, for example. But it being so pliable is the exact reason it might not be useful to you. It’s advertised as being for jewelry, but I don’t think I would personally use it for that, because I would want my jewelry to stay in shape better than this wire does. I’ve used it for a couple of things already in crocheting, mainly to provide some shape to limbs of amigurumi toys. For that, I think it works perfectly due to being easy to cut, easy to bend, thin enough it can fit in between my stitches if I close a toy off before inserting the wire… and mainly, it’s okay if the wire goes very slightly out of shape from where I put it after I let go. I’m talking a couple of millimeters. Once I get it close enough, it bends back very slightly and then stays as long as I don’t mess with it. Perfect. I added pictures of a couple of Pokemon which have this wire holding their tails in shape. But, when I tried it in something else I wanted to stay in shape better (wire letters), I don’t like it as much, because it bounces back too far so the letter have to be really wide, or glued down as well as having the wire inside. So if that’s the case for a project like wire letters, I definitely wouldn’t want it for something like jewelry, but that could just be me. Even if I wouldn’t use it for everything, it is still as described so I’m still giving 5 stars!

Great quality, great price!
I'm pretty new to wire wrapping and jewelry making, but this feels like good quality! It's malleable enough to shape, stout enough to maintain retention, and smooth enough for anything that would make contact with your skin. Highly recommend it for jewelry making, as well as odds-and-end tasks around the shop or craft room!

Nice
This is nice and shiny wire. It's bendy so it's good for wire wrapping stones.

Just to soft for jewelry
Wire is really mallable but just to soft for jewelry, at least what I wanted to do with it. I managed to harden enough for a pretty sturdy bail.. but hammering it with a rubber hammer with a cloth over it to protect it left a lot of marks and forget about tool marks. Was able to get most marks out with a nail buffer but it just does not hold it's shape well enough. I"m sure it's very good wire for certain things and maybe I'll find a use for it but would not recommend this for most jewelry. I hoped since it was 16 Ga it might hold better.

This is the best stuff EVER!! My bloody, sore fingers wish I'd gotten it sooner!
[I wish I'd known it came in copper-colored form! I shall purchase that forthwith!] I started the project of covering up the unnatural elements of my backyard pond using copper-colored steel wire to link the plastic ferns fronds together. Doing so cost me blood, and gave me sore fingers even though I attempted the wrangling with needle-nosed pliers. I attached the strung-together-fronds to the ugly unnatural elements, using this aluminum wire. Hallelujah! It was like buttah! Easy to bend, spiral, and twist with my fingertips. The steel wire nearly killed my wire clippers. My beleaguered clippers went through this like a warm knife through butter in summer.
