If you are into healthy, organic hard candies, this is one of the delicious trays out there. These little treats are not over bearing with ginger flavoring nor are they overwhelming with the creamy coconut flavor. This is one of my personal favorites hard candies.

I know it might sound crazy to say that I'm eating candy to cut down on sweets, but it's really working for me, thanks to these delicious candies. Oddly enough, I'm not a fan of most candies, not even when I was a kid, and hard candy was at the bottom of my candy list. (Chocolate was at the top and still is, but chocolate is medicine, not candy, as far as I'm concerned.)When I realized that I was starting to want a sweet dessert after lunch and dinner, I tried to give them up, but I still found myself reaching for those cookies or brownies that "just happened" to be in the house. Enter these little candies. Now, after lunch and dinner, I allow myself two of these - the equivalent of two tsps of sugar, according to the nutrition label - instead of the treats with a much higher sugar content.Surprisingly, they're enough to satisfy my sweet tooth, maybe because they have such a unique mix of gingery spice and sweet but not too sweet coconut. And they last a long while, long enough for me to get over my cookie or brownie craving. I like them paired with a cup of tea, especially chai, which really enhances the ginger flavor.They ARE spicy, although probably not to the point that they would be too spicy for most adults. And because they're hard candies, I wouldn't give them to a child. Nope, I'm keeping all of these little goodies for myself and ordering more before they run out. I got 26 in my bag, one more than it says on the label.

If you like ginger, coconut, and hard candy, look no further!!! These are sweet and a little spicy and so good. I rarely write reviews. Highly recommend this candy though.

I quite like these. They have a spicy ginger flavor that is absolutely obvious but at the same time not overpowering. The sugar and coconut help tame it, making it a pleasant candy with a kick. The only comparison that I can think to make is that it's the candy equivalent for people who prefer ginger ale to ginger "beer."The pieces are oval and about as big as a quarter on the long side and maybe 3/4 as wide. They're probably about as thick as a Brach's mint/butterscotch candy but the edges are more flat so they look thicker to me.I order a single pack, which isn't the best deal per piece, but it's what I'd suggest if you've never had these before because it's the cheapest option. As much as I enjoy these, I probably won't order more because I like other candies better. If you're a big ginger fan, though, I think that you'll like these quite a bit.
