Frommer's New York City 2024 (Complete Guide) Paperback – October 10, 2023

As a former resident, I can say this really is the best travel book for New York City. Full of suggestions for the usual and off-the-beaten-path sights. Lots of great ideas for getting Broadway tickets at good prices. Good comments on what to see and do at particular sights. Great suggestions for activities and sights for children. So much terrific information, a great value. My only suggestion for future editions is add more self-guided walking tours. We're using GPS MyCity for that.

Gave as Christmas gifts to plan a trip the following spring. The maps were highly valuable.

We loved this book on our recent trip to NYC. Read it in advance of the trip and then used it every day duiring the trip to look up additional tips and recommendations. It helped us maximize our visit time and we saw so much (we did get the recommended City Pass) in short time, without feeling stressed out. Various maps throughout the book are also super useful, especially if you are walking - which is the best way to see NYC. Strongly recommended.

Pauline gave firsthand insider knowledge in this guide! I went to NYC for Thanksgiving and was able to do the most things in my week there because of Frommer’s. The lower Manhattan walking path listed was just as described. I did the list of things she listed like going up early to see the city from above. I walked the Brooklyn Bridge as suggested. Glad I did. This was the most invaluable guide I’ve used. Ever. I have already told my friends and colleagues about it. And will continue to sing its praises.
