FrithRugs Foxi Anti Slip, Anti Creep Rug Underlay. For Carpeted Floors

I've bought 2 of these and am delighted with their efficiency-there has been no movement of mat on carpet since fitting..

This stuff is expensive but it works miracles. It is very slightly sticky fabric that you lay between your mat and the carpet or flooring. I had tried anti-slip rubber foam but to no avail so got this. Its under a very large mat by my front door and the staircase, so very high traffic area and yet it hasn't moved, and has stopped the cat laying under the mat which was proving dangerous. It's been brilliant and will definitely get again in the future if needed for another rug.

We recently had a new fitted carpet laid in our hall, to protect this we bought a carpet runner which was approximately 2 metres long and half a metre wide. Unfortunately, the runner moved around so much we were constantly putting it back into position. (Runner being the operative word, as it moved around quicker than Usain Bolt). We looked at all the products for sale to stop this and we decided on this Anti-slip underlay. We have now had it down for the best part of a week and the runner has stayed firmly in place and it hasn't moved a millimetre. So I highly recommend this product (we bought two for the above carpet). It's a bit fiddly on a larger carpet when you flip over to lay, so you will definitely need two people.

CARPET STILL MOVES

Almost all of the movement between the rubber-backed mat and carpet has been stopped.

I have tried so many products over the year to secure rugs on my carpets at the entrances as dogs are in and out constantly. I finally resorted to criss cross of tape, but this is damaging to the carpets. When I took them up recently to use my carpet washing machine on the entire area, I didn't want to tape down the rugs again so searched Amazon and was intrigued by this product. Ordered a piece for a smaller of the rugs and it came next day, its absolutely brilliant and holds the rug securely without causing any damage to the carpet underneath. 100 % recommend to anyone, so much so I have just placed an order for the rest of the rugs, so wish I had known about this before.

Very frustrated by product. Worked for about a week then my rug continued to slide around on top of the carpet. Granted it does restrict it slightly, but annoyingly still allows the rug to move. Thickness of mat also means the rug looks dented and misshapen with it underneath

Purchased this as replacement for some old anti slip rug underlay, which wasn't very good. So glad I did, because the rug now stops in place! Relatively easy to place in position, although I found it better with 2 of us, so we could flip the rug over more easily. Had it down for about a week now, and the rug hasn't crept at all. Very pleased.
