It works great, it does detangle matted cat hair, plus it leaves my cats hair soft and smelling very nice. Highly recommend.

Smells great. May seem a little sticky at first, but ultimately my cat's fur was super soft

It did not perform as expected I tried it on my long haired and short haired kitties and it pulled their fur even though I read and followed the instructions as I did not want to hurt them the short haired it just brushed over his fur on the long hair it was ok on smooth fur but no help on knots

Worked well to remove our little girl kitties fur mat. A couple sprays to condition the mat and some time picking with a metal comb and my fingernails finally we were able to get it out and smoothed back to normal.Why did you pick this product vs others?:It seemed to be the best and safest product for our pet

I’m rating this product a 1 star because my cat vomited a couple hours later, after using the detangling spray on him. My cat rarely throws up and only does so with an upset stomach. No change in diet or routine; we suspected he licked the product off the area we sprayed on top of, which caused him to be lethargic throughout the day, until after he vomited (he’s doing fine now). As far as detangling goes, we saw no difference in the amount of hair pulled out on the brush. He is long haired and gets knots pretty easily. The product made his fur look wet for a couple minutes then dried. I’d say you’re better off using water in a spray bottle. We liked the smell of the product, but I’d skip on this if your cat has a sensitive stomach or licks himself a lot.
