GREAT PHONE, VERSATILE, GREAT VALUE
I am not a phone geek. Use my phone primarily for staying in touch on line, social media and phone calls. Not a content creator, photographer or heavy user, though the phone is on sometimes 15 hours a day. Great battery, easy to use, dependable, never had an issue (going on one year of ownership). Great value. Love how simple it is to sue - and love how light it is. Folded in half, it goes just about anywhere. All in all, this is a winner.

Excellent phone at a reasonable price
This is probably the second or third time I have ordered a phone from Amazon and I have had perfect success to this point. I bought a couple of iPhones previously for my kids too. Anyway, shipping and delivery was outstanding, and I paid $500 for it which is reasonable for this phone. I like the fact that Motorola has two models of flip phones, so I had a choice to get the less premium option to keep the cost in check. Now for the phone.. I came from the Motorola edge plus 2023, which is a premium flagship to this phone. I can slightly detect some differences in processing but it's negligible. For $500 this phone is a big win for me. I much prefer the ergonomics of this phone over my old full size models over the past ten years or more, and I don't think I'll ever go back. I always got full screen models too, so being able to have a 6.7" screen that folds in half before disappearing into the pocket is pure magic. The only thing that may be a drawback is battery life. It's obviously not as long as my edge plus, but I adapted to it in a day or two, and it's really not that significant of a difference TBH. If I lost this phone right now I'd buy another one just like it. For sure. And I have rarely ever felt like that about others I've had. This is a good phone, but it glitches at times with odd stuff, like screen size on YouTube and weird stuff like that it apparently has trouble identifying or something. But I haven't had anything that even needed to reset it or something like that. Just know it is one of the acceptable issues. Heck, my edge plus had them too... Just random stuff like that every once in awhile. I think that covers the positives and negatives. I did have a chance to compare it to the premium Motorola razr and the Samsung flip phones, and I settled on the Motorola's easily. The Samsung, while cool and pretty smooth, don't seem as solid and attractive as the Razr's. I opted for the lower tier phone because I didn't think I would benefit from the big outside screen, as I thought I would just open it up anyway, and I was correct. I actually do use the outer screen on this phone though. Usually the timer and the time display. Too early to say for sure, but this seems like the best phone I've had since the LG V10 I had around 10 years ago, when they had a replacement battery option and I got a 10000 mah external battery case from Zero lemon. That was the shizznipplzes I tell you!! Seems like a novel phone in my eyes and has changed my phone handling ways for the better.

2X Don't Buy a Cellphone from Amazon Renewed!
This was my 2x trying Amazon Renewed. This time I purchased the LAST stated available 2023 described as "In OEM box, Box shows wear from opening". The Moto Razor Flip phone was described as "Like new". Immediately upon arrival w/o even opening the box I knew it was wrong as the package was far too light. I opened it & there was a Moto Razor w/obvious discoloration on the case from use + a CHIP in the bottom screen. Packaging was similar to a top end Samsung I ordered from Amazon Renewed & fulfilled by a 3rd Party in FL 2 years ago. I saved due to credit only $20 @ checkout over a NEW One. WORSE there's NO WAY to return this immediately (There' are 2 Amazon Return 2 locations within 2-5 minutes of my house. Just came back from one & CS stated "I've never seen this")). Instead Amazon MAY notify me when they'll ONLY pickup from my house in 3 days. I had this EXACT same problem with a $700+ Laptop that was supposed to be Brand New. I'm beyond a coder or tech guy & ran a battery cycle count software on that as the battery lasted 2 hours less than advertised. It was obviously a RETURN, re-sold as NEW, unless Compaq sells Laptops w/over 200 battery cycles already on them. Same thing w/2 PB's & a CH Android Tablet which still had the previous User's name & account information installed. Seriously, WHO is doing QC? I'll NEVER use Renewed again. Period. Even when you buy a NEW item it's 50/50 now you'll get someone else's return sold as New! eBay here I come again. Worst thing this was supposed to be a gift. OBVIOUS Screen CHIP really ticks me off. Since 2022 I'm now 2 for 8+ on purchases of tech devices. Buy with caution!

Love my flip phone..
When my old phone died/was unable to be updated any more, I knew I wanted to go back to moto to get my next phone. Had one years ago that I loved, so was hoping this would be the same. Of course things have changed since the 90's, but Motorola is still a great brand. Great value for the money, no problems with the screem that I've seen others mention. Fingerprint reader can be touchy, so just make sure you add more than 1 finger so it's got a back up. Got a good battery life, phone was in great condition when I got it, was new, no problems at all. I can't tell you about sound as I'm deaf, and I have no idea there, but it suits my purpose perfectly.

Great phone with a few tiny issues
This is my first smart flip phone and I really have enjoyed it so far. Screen looks great, it fits well in my pocket. Took some getting used to but the software is very easy to learn and pick up (I'm coming from Samsung so.. not very different). Battery life is great. I hate phones where the power saving mode has to be on 24/7 or else the battery dies in 5 hours. This is not the case with this phone. Just be kind to your battery and it'll last you a while. External display isn't very customizable which is actually very sad to me. It would be really neat to have a custom clock because the base ones either suck or are boring. I wish you could respond to texts using the external display using voice to text, I think this would be neat so you don't have to flip open the whole phone but it's not a big hassle to open the phone up. I feel like the screen is just big enough to see everything you need to see but small enough that you're not sucked into your phone every time you wanna check the weather or read a text. You can do basically everything settings wise from the external display: wifi, Bluetooth, flashlight, volume, and the list goes on, all without even opening your phone. Camera is meh at best. Not terrible, though. It uses a lot (and I mean a lot) of after effects to fancy up the photo to make up for the lackluster camera. Which is fine but sometimes you can 100% tell it's edited like crazy and it just looks off putting, like it's overcompensating for the bad camera by saturating the photo a lot. Just a pet peeve for me. I've had a few little issues like the external display will glitch sometimes, but everything is solved by turning everything off then on again. Overall, I thought I was going to get a gimmick phone that was really just a baseline android wrapped in a pretty package but this thing really keeps up and is fast. TLDR: 8/10 over all great phone, some pet peeve stuff and some random glitches but I would recommend it! Give it a shot. Edit: the screen protector on this device is awful. Gets scratched up so easily and it's expensive to replace it. You have to be extra careful with this device.

Perfect as long as it holds up over time
I've only had my phone for a week and I'm pretty simple as far as phones go so this is the most expensive phone I've ever bought. I normally use 100-130 dollar Walmart phones on my att plan because I break them regularly. Over the last few years I've been severely disappointed as the phones just keep getting bigger and bigger and now they don't even fit in your pocket anymore. Thus how I justified spending 3 times the money on this phone. I've been looking at it for a year but was terrified of the screen folding wouldn't last and the touch screen would be a pain and not function correctly however this phone works fantastic and when folded fits in my pocket great. I'm still concerned about it holding up over time being opened and closed regularly. All I can say is if it will last close to a year and they keep making it (Everytime I like something they quit making it) but if it'll make it 8months I love it enough to just buy a new one every 8 months. If your thinking about trying it and are looking for a smaller phone that fits in your pocket while maintaining all online usage shopping Facebook etc etc this is definitely the answer. I also love that they sell the base model that doesn't have a big screen on the front so it's as simple as it can be for as fancy as it is. 🤣 Buy it try it and you'll love it

Camera lets this phone down
I am a very average smartphone user and just can't justify spending the $1k or more that most phone manufacturers want to charge for their flagship phones. I just need a phone with a good camera, decent storage and enough oopmh to be able to quickly browse apps and social media. I don't do gaming or use a lot of the bells and whistles most phones come with. I was intrigued by the flip form factor and old enough to remember how much I loved my pride and joy, a Motorola razr phone circa 2007. I thought I would try a Motorola again since I haven't had one since that original razr. I found myself irritated almost on a daily basis with my Pixel phone not fitting into my pants pockets, so this return to the compact flip phone has been an absolute pleasure. I find that I don't lose my phone anymore because I'm not constantly setting it down in random spots, it's always in my pocket. The phone is zippy enough to load webpages and photos quickly when browsing. The user interface is really similar to my Pixel, which I loved. It's uncluttered, simple to use and intuitive (unlike my husband's Samsung which I hate using). I truthfully haven't used half the bells and whistles I'm sure this phone comes with, but that's one of the reasons I didn't buy a super high end phone in the first place. I have dropped it a couple times in the open and closed position with no issues, even though I don't have a case on it. The texture on the back of the phone makes it really nice to handle and keep hold of, as it's not slippery like most phones. I went into a store and test drove the Samsung Flip 5 phone and hated the feel of the crease in the screen. On the razr the crease is honestly so incredibly minimal you immediately forget it's there. I was worried switching to a flip phone that the crease would drive me nuts while scrolling but it's been a complete non issue. Battery life is pretty good so far. I can make it through the day without a recharge unless it's one of those days where I'm doing a ton of browsing. I basically don't use the tiny outer screen for anything except checking the time, but I knew going in that I wasn't the kind of person who enjoys using a tiny screen, which is why I didn't spend the extra on the razr plus. One annoying thing if you happen to have a Tesla, this will not charge properly on the Tesla's wireless charge pad because the charging spot inside the phone is too low to align with the charging spot on the pad of the car. I've worked around it by putting a little wedge on the pad to boost the phone up to the right spot, but it's annoying for sure. It charges fine on a normal wireless pad, although a bit slowly. It charges very quickly if plugged into a charger. Overall a really solid user experience, except for... The camera. Ugh. I'm not savvy enough to know if this is a hardware or software issue with Motorola's but the delay time from when you press the capture button to when the picture is captured is excruciating. For someone who is often taking pictures of little kids and animals who never hold still, that means I basically never get the shot I wanted. It's honestly so painful that it may be a deal breaker for this phone. I switched to this phone from a FIVE YEAR OLD Pixel phone and the razr camera is SO much worse. Shots are often blurry and it struggles so hard in lower light conditions. I have had this phone for almost a month now and I am already keeping an eye on new flip phones coming out because I can't wait to upgrade to one that has a decent camera. I will likely hold onto this one just long enough to find something with a better camera but I am truly disappointed because I feel like this phone had it almost perfect for an average user like me who is interested in getting into a flip smartphone without shelling out the big bucks.

Brilliant foldable Android phone
My 2020 flagship Moto Razr 5G was a great phone on its own right, but after the daily grind of a teachers life, it finally expired. I loved the foldable design and so went for this new Razr 2023 as it's replacement. Wow, what an astonishing improvement in only 3 years. This new Razr has all the benefits of it's folding predecessor, while sporting an amazing assignment is improvements that make it superior in every way. - my old Razr' Achilles heel was it's tiny 2800mah battery; it was as bad as an Apple, requiring a charge every few hours, and getting worse as it aged. This new Razr has effectively double the battery life, with a 4200mah battery, even larger than the Razr+. - My old Razr had a small but usable 6.1 inch POLED screen. This new Razr is gigantic by comparison, at 6.9 inches - it's a huge noticeable difference, and higher resolution. - Despite it's substantially bigger battery and screen, this new Razr is noticeably thinner and lighter than the 2020. - the vegan leather cover is 'Da Bomb! No slips, no fingerprints, no back glass shattered. The 2020 was fast, but this thing, with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, is screaming fast, over 660kb on Antutu! - both have a super high quality feel, crazy good looks, and the benefits of the foldable design cannot be overstated. It just ROCKS. - Better colors. Mine is the super lavender/purple, looks terrific. Highest recommendation. ** Update ** after two months, just about everything above still holds, only one negative/ caveat to add: in two months of heavy daily use, I have pinched my index finger twice upon opening. Ouch! In two years of ownership, that never happened once with the old Razr. The hinge can bite when snapped open to is full flat condition... * A slick plus is the wireless charging - slow but high tech, works great overnight on your bedside table. It doesn't come with one, but they are dirt cheap (and I already had one Still highest recommendation.
