Amaco glazes /underglazes are the best i use a lot of their glazes. They always turn out great .

Best I’ve found.
All of the amaco underglazes are good. I use this to paint, as well as a wash over my work.Tip: if painting a design, first use on green ware, then apply again (as needed) on bisque.I’ve been testing this against the speedball black underglaze; haven’t wood fired the work yet, but amaco goes on more smoothly and evenly.This is just a potters’ staple.

Love this glaze
So far this is my favorite black underglaze. It goes on nice and smooth, with good coverage. Now my go-to for future underglaze needs

Sweet even coverage!
This is great underglaze! Very dark, vibrant and opaque. I used it for a cone 5 firing and painted an illustration with it onto porcelain clay. 3 coats is a safe bet for even coverage.
