Keeps the kids busy on trip and is really good quality different age groups so I think it’s a good variety

This is great for traveling, but it is also perfect to keep in the car and take into a restaurant when you discover you are going to have a long wait.

Got this to keep in my backseat for when I have my 7 year old niece riding along with me, and the first time she hopped in the back she was excited to read through the cards and pick a game. She is a good reader for her age, so I'm not sure if younger kids might need some help from an adult to read the cards. Then she brought it in a restaurant with us where we met up with 70 year old grandpa and my 17 year old daughter for dinner, and we all picked another game to play while we waited for our food. My teenager said I should bring this along on our upcoming mother/daughter trip to kill time. It made us all use our brains a little and kept even the toughest critic at least mildly entertainedThe cards are the size of a deck of playing cards, and laminated so they are more durable. They are all on a key ring so they don't get lost and it is easy to grab, toss in a bag, and go. Aside from the cards, there are no other required supplies, so these are truly very portable. Some of the games are similar, so would be repetitive if you played them all right in a row, but those tweaks are nice to have a twist and play something a little different next time around. These cards are a great deal

This is a set of two-sided cards, larger than regular playing cards; these are about 3” by 5.5”.What was good:• These cards are printed in vibrant colors with designs and text that will be engaging for kids.• Each card has a suggested age rating for the youngest age child that will likely be able to play. The youngest minimum is 4 and some have minimum recommended ages of 8.• The box says “10+ hours” of fun. I am sure we can get at least twice that amount of time if we are able to use each of the 58 card faces: each of 29 cards with 2 different sides.• None of the game cards that I looked at required any pieces, nor any writing on paper.• The cards are made from a flexible plastic material which seems to be reasonably durable.• Each card has a hole in the corner so these can all be put onto the snap ring that is provided in the box with the cards.So, what’s so-so or not good:• I suspect that a kid could bend these hard enough to warp or crease them. The plastic is sturdy enough for regular usage. Just make sure the kids don’t get rough with the cards.• There is a minor amount of similarity among several games. This is still a good way to get a braod set of car activities.During road trips this past Summer we tried several games like this from a few suggestions we had seen. Since those went well, I expect this set will provide a wider range of new ideas to pick from. Not a great thing for the car ride like I thought it would be. A little to involved while driving.
