Helped remove the CA glue from denim
I had a hard set 1/4" diameter CA glue residue on my jeans. I had no expectations for the removal. Acetone, IPA did absolutely nothing. It sat on the thick denim completely fused for days. I gave a chance to this glue debonder. I put a drop on the set glue residue, waited a few hours. Repeated this three or four times. I saw the glue residue getting softer and mechanically removable. I loosened it further gently digging into the crevices of the fabric with a tooth pick, making tiny smears that began to look like viscous fresh glue. Wiped this sticky stuff off as it collected with a piece of paper towel or cloth. Did this a few times patiently and slowly, trying not to fray the fabric. It took me almost 2 days to remove what remained. After I figured I could not reasonably remove any more residue, I worked into it a few drops of acetone- not sure if this is even necessary. Then I worked in a few drops of a popular laundry stain remover. After that put in the washing machine. Used a little nonchlorine "bleach" and laundry detergent. Washed hot, regular cycle about 1 hour including spin cycle. My "high efficiency" toploading washing machine uses low level of water in washing cycle. I dried it hot for 25 minutes in the dryer. This worked for me. I am happy with the result. This was a favorable experience. The product, its container, the materials and design speak quality. I recommend it. I didn't sense any strong smell. If you are going to be using it for a similar purpose, you need to exercise patience, gentleness and accuracy.

Exactly as stated on the "tin." Works and works well, let it sit for much longer for thicker glue.
FYI: It takes a while to be shipped to you, might be as much as an extra 3-4 days. But. It works as described and is getting the superglue off! This stuff turns hardened superglue into a gel-like goop that can be wiped off and scraped off for thicker amounts that were dried on. 15-20 mins isn't enough time for thicker amounts of glue, give it an hour wipe and scrape off with a butter knife on hard surfaces. It's gotten it off my kitchen counter, next the top of the stove, the walls and the bathroom. Wish me luck. And no it wasn't a child that did this, my 16 year old decided to turn three for a a while. Good god. (I am angry!) Thank you, you are helping me avoid a big fine or possibly a strike in our apartment. This is worth every penny, pay it.

Well Known and Appreciated Product
The media could not be loaded. I feel like this product does a really great job at removing small bits of super glue, but it didn't fully work in my case. Maybe if it was on a more solid less porous surface it would have worked better.I accidentally dripped some super glue (Cyafixed medium thin industrial general purpose adhesive) between my legs when I was trying to glue something up, while seated at my desk. I have a synthetic leather gaming chair. The super glue that I use is pretty fast drying, so while I was trying to get it off my hands I hadn't noticed the small blob on my chair as well. When I did notice it, about 20 seconds later, it was pretty much already setting up. I wiped up as much as I could but it wasn't good enough. I got the glue on my hands, my lighter, the part, and my chair. It was a mess! After trying to manually remove the glue from my chrome-coated lighter and failing miserably, to the point of causing damage to the finish, I decided to look up and see if there were chemicals to perform essentially dissolving of the glue. I found that this product was highly recommended by several people in varying industries - mostly in 3D printing. To start, I applied Starbond to my chair. I took video of the whole process, to see it start-to-finish. The chair can be seen with 2 small drops of super glue adhered to the surface of the synthetic leather. After applying the Starbond, the glue still wasn't removed. But, also now was an additional lump on the chair in the shape of an asymmetrical oval around the effected area. It's very clearly evident that the Starbond either soaked thru the leather pores and into the foam padding of the chair, OR, de-bonded whatever chemical make-up the chair cushion had to hold itself together, like a bad chemical reaction. With the super glue still remaining firmly on top of the synthetic leather, I opted to continue and re-try removal. The additional removal processes all resulted in failure. They did lessen the volume of the top-most material, and smoothed out the tops to a dome-like shape, but the substance as a whole remained present and is still visible to this day, as well as the new defect if the chair cushion surface. After each removal of the prior application of Starbond the surfaces were cleaned with IPA to reduce the effect that they'd continue to stay active on the surface and possibly cause a skin irritant.Next, I attempted removal of the super glue from my Zippo lighter. The lighter from my failed manual rough removal resulted in scratches being present on the surface. After applying Starbond the first time, the results were dramatic. It reduced the super glue size from an area about the size of a fingernail to an area about as big as a grain of rice. Then I followed up with additional layers of Starbond, and eventually the super glue was fully removed. Sadly, I'll have to get the lighter re-coated, due to my own mistakes, but at least the super glue is now fully removed, and that process can take place. In short - Starbond is a great product that appears, to me, to work well on hard non-porous surfaces like metal. From my experience here, I wouldn't recommend its use on non-porous objects like clothing and furniture - however, some other people may say differently based on their experiences.

Did not work for my project
I tried to use this on two layers of acrylic. I tried to remove Where the glue seeped out between the layers. Did not remove the glue and clouded the acrylic. Threw it all out. Quite disappointing

I was able to remove the Super Glue that spilled on the lid of my MacBook Pro!
I was using a small tube of Super Glue and small blob got on the top of my MacBook Pro lid. I didn't notice until the glue dried and I tried scraping with my finger nail but there was no way I was going to get it off. I purchased this product hoping I can make the top of my MBP look decent. This product works and it took off 100% of the Super Glue and you would never notice the glue was ever there! It doesn't cause any issues or discoloration either. I applied what was on the brush onto the area where the glue was, let it sit for 30 minutes, then it simply wiped off with a dry cloth. I then used a damp paper towel just to wash off any streaking from the first wipe. All I can say is thank you to this company for making this product. My MBP look brand new again!
